Spigen for Galaxy S10 Plus Case, Liquid Air [No Magnet Ring] [Military-Grade Protection] - Matte Black

I bought this case because I was looking for something that would protect my device but also looked minimal. I came across this, and all I can say is that I love it! I've had this Spigen case for around 2+ years now, and in that time frame, I've dropped my phone countless times. Each time, I don't even worry about a cracked screen or frame. Everything is safe and looks pristine. Not only that, but it also fits in my pocket, because it's not introducing too much added bulk. One of my pet peeves is when I buy a case and it feels almost impossible to click on the buttons. Here, you don't get that. The case is well-designed that the buttons are very responsive and they feel very tactile. As for the durability: well, I had it for over 2 years, and I've never had to replace it. So, the quality speaks for itself. If you're looking for an affordable and practical case for your Galaxy S10, get this!

I was skeptical because I thought the price compared to other popular brands that it would be low quality. The case fits perfectly and is a single piece molded case. The case texture is a good combination of grip in the hand but also doesn't turn your pocket inside out when pulling it out. While it doesn't provide the protection of cases much larger & more expensive, it makes up for it with minimalist slim design and more than adequate drop protection. If you are looking for a phone case that can survive Hiroshima, this isn't it. But, if you are looking for a slim phone case that can survive most human day to day interaction it is hard to beat.

I've been buying the Liquid Air cases, for 6 years, and they never disappoint. Most slim cases have the same design flaw: they leave the bottom and volume rockers completely exposed and unprotected. That's not the case (pardon the pun) with the Spigen. It fully protects the edges, sides, back, buttons, and has nice rounded lip that protect the screen and the camera lenses. Plus, I love how it feels in the hand. Many cases (and slim cases in particular) tend to feel plasticky or have weird hard edges that are uncomfortable to hold. Or, they're very difficult to take off to wash. The Liquid Air has none of those flaws. It's got very subtle textured patterns that is both smooth yet grippy enough to not slide out of your hand or couch arm. Another nice thing about this case is that although it's PLA, it's a very high quality, flexible, and durable PLA. Some PLA cases will stretch over time. That's not the case (again, sorry for the pun) with the Spigen. The cases are like-new, after years of daily use. In terms of drop protection, I don't take care about marketing terms like "military grade" protection. I just know that these cases have protected my phones perfectly, including when dropped on asphalt. And the cases still look brand new, after all these years. I can't speak highly enough about these cases. If you want a slim case that actually protects your entire phone, is comfortable to hold, and is easy to clean, this case should be on your short list. BTW, this case works perfectly with Spigen's Glas.tR EZ Fit tempered glass screen protectors. Excellent tolerances.

I've been using Spigen cases on previous phones for years and I've generally preferred their minimalist TPU cases over nondescript, generic alternatives if they are available in the first place. My first consideration was the Rugged Armor, but I never used the Liquid Air and I kind of wish I gave it a chance! The Liquid Air stands out from the Rugged Armor sibling with its triangle truss pattern. The use of air cushioning hasn't shifted over the years and remains consistent for the Liquid Air, the same goes for the interior spiderweb pattern. I can't verify how protective that is as I am otherwise very careful and sparse with my phone usage these days outside of listening to music, but I trust Spigens quality enough to believe it works for this specific Samsung Galaxy S-series. The Liquid Air goes on with minimal effort, though it clings to it for dear life enough for me to have confidence that it won't peel away on its own if I were to ever drop my phone. If you use Spigens screen protectors it will, of course, play very nicely without grazing their edges. Of course, the material over the USB is a bit thin so it will have more give than the rest of the outer edges which require deliberate action to notice. There appears to be an "awning" of TPU that sits in front of the earpiece, though it doesn't impede audio nor call quality and it should do a good enough job of preventing larger debris from scoring the components. There's a decent enough amount of raise on the front edges, more-so without a screen protector, but a screen protector is still additional material between your phones screen and the surface the phone is sitting face-down on so this isn't an issue whatsoever. The left and right sides of the Liquid Armor have a backslash texture pattern, with no discernible texture on the top and bottom sides. There is Spigen branding on the lower left corner, a lanyard eyelet on the bottom right corner, and ventilated buttons on the right side. The volume buttons are separated with a notch to better separate the two while the power button has a ridged texture for easy distinction. All of the buttons press exactly as they should without additional effort or strain on the fingertips. Each of the cutouts are decently sized and spaced but I especially like how Spigen chose to go with exact, form-fitting cutouts for the camera and LED flash; there's a considerable ridge around the camera bumps which should do a good job of keeping debris away. This is how a simple case *should* be designed if it were to respect any kind of drop protection standard. I won't say the Liquid Air has as much grip as the Rugged Armor, but its truss pattern gives the Liquid Air an almost premium feel, as if I were using something other than TPU. The aforementioned backslash pattern on the left and right sides catches my fingers and the front lip doesn't snag the fabric of my pockets. The weight difference is there, but is a night and day difference from the (somewhat) generic rugged case I had before. Great price, pattern design gives you a good grasp on the phone. Feels just right in your hand. Fits s26u perfectly. We'll made case. Been buying s ultra series each year for last 10 years so I know cases. This is a perfect case at a great price.

Excellent choice. Very pleasant to the touch, ultra-thin, and great quality materials.

Basic safety for your phone. I've already dropped mine a couple of times, and it saved the phone. Only down side is that the ridges around the camera lenses don't have anything to counterbalance them on the right upper corner to make it stable when sitting down; it will wobble. Otherwise, a great case for the money.

Perfect case for the unlocked Galaxy S24+ I just purchased. I had actually ordered 2 different cases on the same day. The first to arrive was the Otterbox Commuter. That didn't quite hug the sides of my phone well enough, as I could see some sections of the bezel beside the screen, albeit a cosmetic concern. I also didn't like the hard plastic section. That case was returned. This Spigen Liquid Air though is perfect. Just enough material to protect the screen (even with a glass screen protector installed) when setting phone on a desk/table. Same is true for the back, just enough to protect the lenses and lens bezels when set on a flat surface. The Spigen case material is very slightly rubbery grippy, even if it didn't have the side and back textures I wouldn't feel like the case is going to slip out of my hand. Btw, the texture on the case is more subtle than the pics led me to believe. I like that. Good fit, good material, good case.
