I usually combine this with Phosphatidylserine. And I must say this stuff is great, there are days when it doesn't seem to help as much as I'd like. Which makes me think it has to be during a certain mental phase or when your body is low on certain resources. So you definitely want to make sure you take this at the right time, not so much a scheduled time but more based upon what you are feeling and are mentally going through around that time. So once you build up some good muscle memory on timing it. This product is fantastic, it's like getting an actual mental energy boost. And what I mean by that is, I don't feel like it boosts your brains "potential" output, so it won't make you smarter. But simply speaking, as time goes on throughout the day we get mentally tired, or if you are doing more mental stuff than usual or are getting stressed, you often feel extremely mentally drained afterwards. ( I know I do) This simply helps you re-gain that mental energy you lost throughout the day. So this is fantastic for anyone that works longer shifts, or has a lot of things going on after work that you need to be mentally there for. This is the product you absolutely need for days like that.

I’m pregnant and had to up my choline since most prenatals don’t have enough. I’ve been using Solar supplements for the past 12 years so I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing it. I just trust them.Well, it turns out it works great not only for baby’s brain development but mommy’s too! My brain has more clarity and I am more motivated to get things done despite being pregnant and working 6 days a week.They say it works on the long run but last week I was extremely busy and forgot to take it for 3-4 days. I felt like my brain wasn’t working by the end of the day!I don’t suggest taking it before bedtime since I think that’s what kept me up all night one time I did.Beware, pills are huge! I’ve never had trouble swallowing pills and I don’t have any problem with these but I see how some people could.No flavor/aftertaste!

Product seems to work, but I can confirm I've had the same problem as other reviewers such as this one:"I'm now on my fourth jar of this product in which I have to manually clean the capsules before putting them in my pill organizer. I've kept buying them thinking that they might have had a bad batch, but this seems to be a persistent problem, and the most recent jar has been worse than the ones before it. It seems like somehow their process is breaking or smashing capsules, and the goo inside is being transferred to the product as it passes through the equipment and gets packaged.At this point I've become somewhat accustomed to putting a week's worth of pills onto a paper towel and then bundling it around the pills and scrubbing it around in my hand, then unwrapping the orange/brown stained paper towel. With this latest jar I've had to actually wipe each pill individually afterward to get all the goo off.This is really annoying, and it suggests that the company isn't really being very attentive at even the basics of keeping their equipment clean, aside from whatever mechanical problem is causing the mess."

Compared to other brands, this one is great for quality and price. I've taken more expensive brands before and while they worked well, this one works just as well for less cost. One expensive brand changed their formula from pure PC to a blend of phospholipids and it did not work as well for me after that. That's when I found Solgar. It's pure PC and a good dosage. Makes my brain function better, more energy, just overall better life quality.

I take this for about a month and then i cycle it with something else. It is made with soy so if you are sensitive to that I do not recommend. As far as menopausal symptoms this is not a sliver bullet. It did help me with sleep.
