This is a must book to have for an electrical Newbian like me.Bought a Fluke Multimeter after my analog meter bit the dust after 30 years. So many buttons and options I didn't know which way to turn or how to take advantage of all of the features. Fluke sucks when it comes to including any type of practical instruction. The company just assumes that since your buying one of their meters, you must be a Frigg'n Electrician!Great instruction book with perfect pictures and just enough "electroniceeeeeees" that what they are showing you givesyou a very clear picture. I Highly recommend this book. Also, the pages are spiral bound making flipping to the correct page and staying open to that page a breeze. This is one book you won't want to let the neighbor borrow and get away with.

This is a great book, although on the expensive side, (wire bound makes it very convenient to refer back to different sections as you use your meter) for a beginning technical student. Contents are broken up into the various individual test areas and have excellent graphics for review and explanation. Your own multimeter may not have all of the possible available tests that are included in this manual (there are some very specialized tests that must be available only on some very high end models) but you are made aware of the possibilities. I found the book to be elementary enough but still detailed enough to challenge my freshman engineering son. At the very least, it will be an excellent reference for him in the years to come. I am awaiting delivery of the similar "work book" to see what that looks like.

Brought this book along with the workbook. Perfect study tool. For certification , If you purchase this book, I suggest you also purchase the workbook also.Great study tool.
