This paper cutter works great and is of good value for the price. It is lightweight and easy to handle. It cuts nice and smooth. It can cut both card stock and regular thin paper. It cuts accurately and has a safety clear plastic bar that is wide and holds the cutting blade in place and is only able to cut the paper under the guide. You must push the blade block down in order for the blade to cut. The cutter is assembled and ready to use out of the box. The instructions for use are on the back of the box. I have used it to cut many thin and thick pieces of paper and it has worked very well. I am pleased with this paper cutter. I purchased the pack of blade replacements later on because I am using the cutter to cut a lot of card stock.

Seems small but works better than larger cutter especially for small trims. What makes it work better than other cutters is the fact that there is a plastic top brace on BOTH sides of the cut. The cutting channel goes between. This holds the paper more securely in place and it is less likely to slip during cutting. Also it is less expensive than many cutters. Happy with purchase. Recommend.

I have owned this for 5 years and it constantly wows me. It's compact, fast, efficient and gets the job done quickly. Everything you need. It cuts through paper as well as my 5mm laminated sheets with zero issues. The cutting mechanism allows you to lift it up and easily glide over the paper, then press down and slide when you want to cut. The ruler guides are extremely helpful in keeping the cut lines straight and at 90 degree angles. I remember when thinking about buying it I thought the cutting mechanism looked cheap compared to the office ones I see, but it is not cheap at all. It's durable and well made and actually much more efficient than the office cutters.

Ordered one and was so impressed I ordered another! I laminate a lot of laser print signs. Standard 20-24 garage of thickness paper. I have been using an old machete type paper cutter when I had to trim the laminated sheets but found if I only wanted to trim maybe 1/8 inch, the machete paper cutter wouldn’t do it well at all. Tried one of these and it worked awesome! I also picked up a pack of replacement cutter heads as I don’t know how long the OEM cutter heads will last cutting through 5ml thick laminate pages. Supper simple, lightweight and portable as possible these paper cutters do exactly what I need done. As far as thicker paper thing cardboard or card stock? I don’t have any experience thus far so cannot comment.

Accuracy: Has rubber pads on the bottom to secure cutter for accurate cutting. Really like the extended arm /ruler. Lightweight and can fit in tight spaces. Color is as shown. I would recommend this paper craft cutter.

So happy with this cutter. Lightweight and does not take up much room. Especially like that you can cut up and down, could not do that with my last one which was a pain. Don't know how long the blades will last but replacements seem fairly cheap.
