I recently installed a 3 zone mini split in my home. Multiple zones left me with multiple refrigerant lines coming down the wall that ( keeping it real), looked terrible ! So I ran them through the walls and cut a hole to access the connections to the airhandelers . These plastic panels made a great inspection and service access cover.They snap shut tightly and when painted the color of the wall they go virtually un- noticed. Light weight, durable and easy to install. I just used construction glue around the inside of the frame.A great value for the price.

This thing is awesome! I have twice cut into this wall for access to a frozen pipe. I drywalled the hole up after the first time thinking I wouldn’t need it again. Wrong. This time, I bought this access panel for a couple reasons. I didn’t have to do any drywall work, and I can now open the door when the temps drop below zero and let the interior warmth keep the pipe from freezing. Win win. But this item is well made and fit perfectly. I’m buying another for access to the shower valve in the bathroom

This access panel worked almost perfect for covering a 12x12 hole needed to obtain access to tub plumbing. Size was exactly as stated, material is plastic with fine grit on surface to be painted and door swings open vs pop off panel. The only issue that I had was that the access door wouldn't open at first. The plastic slot hinge only allowed movement of the door to about 30 degree angle. After moving the door back and forth multiple times the hinge allowed complete access. Good product.

These plumbers access doors are phenomenal! They are so very easy to install and look so much better than a piece of sheet rock screwed back on to cover the hole up. If a 64 year old lady can install them, I think just about anyone should be able to.

This was a perfect fit. The door also comes off very easily for installation. This is not thin plastic it is very solid and I expect it to last a very long time.

Short answer: it is easy to install and will work. Not heavy duty.In terms of size and ease of installation, it’s excellent. Easy install. Just cut your hole in sheet rock to size, and double sided tape is all you need. Install of 5 minutes, tops.However, it’s thin and flimsy. Need to use some sort of caution when opening the door or you’ll risk breaking door. Also, opening the door when closed is difficult. I can’t get my fingers in the slit to open, so I needed to add a string to mine that acts as a “handle”.Overall, it will work and looks great when installed. But, it’s higher price tag for the level of quality you get is something to consider.
