Spot Goes to the Beach

I bought this book after using the "look inside" feature thinking it was the one from my childhood that I could now share with my son. This is an entirely different book with the same title. Both the pictures and story are completely different, and as other reviewers have stated, there are no flaps. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing and I'm very disappointed about the false advertising.

Worst Spot book! We have several as they are my sons favorite. The story was disjointed and lame. There are also no flaps, which was very disappointing. The quality of this book is also the worst of the bunch we have. Save your money, this one is a dud.

I thought this was going to be a different book. There is an Eric Hill book with the same title that is a lift and flap book. My daughter still enjoys this book, but it's not as fun as some of the other Spot books.

Our son LOVES the spot books and he loves what’s hidden under the lift up flaps on each page! They’re very cute and perfect for little curious minds! I’d highly recommend these books!

Great graphics and easy story. My misunderstanding was that it was a flip book like most other “spot” books.

The Amazon “look inside” images show the original Spot Goes to the Beach book (Spot wears a sailor’s hat in this book) including lift the flap features common in the Spot books. The book I got was an edition with no flaps and a story about Spot surfing with penguins. My daughter was uninterested in this book and we will be returning it, the story was not interesting for her. I would recommend picking up the original with Spot wearing a sailor hat instead of this copy.

Other reviews for this book mentioning flaps were deceiving - This version of 'Spot Goes to the Beach' does not have flaps.

My kids loved spot and now my grandkids love spot. Easy to read and cute pictures. Two year old grandson loves him and picks his books everytime.

Not happy as thought the book had flaps with it and for the price there is not many pages in it!

Bought as a gift. Happy with it.
