When it’s in place, it works but baby is newborn, as he gets bigger and more wriggly, it will just fall off as it’s already quite hard for it to stay on and he doesn’t even wriggle that much

Rubbish, it's not for for purpose. If it's not held on in place, it just falls off. Even if you manage to balance it on, any wee shoots it off.
