Do you have you have a radio for this to work?

I would say yes as it’s an FM transmitter. Best to tune it to 87.9 as that’s empty or else you can get interference. I have it in a 14 year old car and it works very well for me for answering calls and streaming music

Once i sing them together it turns off how do i keep the FM frequency the same?

I'm not sure I understand the question. You can alter the frequency but your radio will have to be altered to the same frequency. If you ARE singing to it; I'm not surprised it switches itself off.

Say for instance, what if i know which one radio 1 is, will i be able to connect it to that?

Hi Levi,

On mine you have to tune your radio to around 107.5- it tells you the frequency on the digital read on the plug in - once you have done this - you save it by pressing in your normal radio preset button until it bleeps ( 3 secs normally)- you can then play anythoing on your phone  through your speakers- so if you want Radio 1 - you would play it through BBC Sounds app- even Podcasts etc from BBC. I also play my Spotify and Audible through the phone into the car stereo. If some one calls it cuts the music out if you answer the call. I also have  the Radioplayer app which gives access to any/all radio stations- in effect you get all the options of a digital radio plus the ability to do more- make/take calls hands free - plus play Spotify etc.
It is a superb piece of kit- several friends have bought them and they love them- the only other thing you need but you probably have is a phone holder so you can easily  view/select what you want to listed to
