Lovely
I don’t know what I can say that hasn’t already been said in a million other reviews. These are great strings. I put them on my 53 Gibson LG-01. It’s a smallish concert body with ladder bracing. These strings put significantly less pressure on the bridge than traditional strings. Sounds just as good as thicker PBs. The tone is lovely.

I like these as strings
These strings are bright and have good sustain, they do feel a bit softer to the touch on the wound strings, amazing value given the price and I definitely would recommend to anyone. I use them on an ovation pinnacle and they stayed in tune after manually stretching them once and maybe after a day of playing...I can't speak to the durability because I only just got them, but after 2 weeks they still look and sound like new

The Best
The best strings for my Martin, so pleased to find them on Amazon.

Nice sound
Great sound and smooth playing. Very happy with these strings. I still prefer Ernie Ball, but these are a nice substitution.

Very light...easy on fingers I guess
Maybe Im not used to light strings. Kinda like rubber bands. Nice for someone with delicate fingers. Gave the second set I bought to my ex. Will order mediums.

Nice feel, decent warmer sound (not overly bright)
I've had these on my Breedlove Stage Concert acoustic for several days now. I have used Elixir and D'Addarrio mostly, but those were 13's and 12's and just tough to play on. I use 9.5's on my electrics, so I thought hey I wonder if there's an 11.5 gauge for acoustic... These were the only ones I've found so far. I couldn't find an answer before they arrived but wanted to share they are indeed steel strings (I mostly had concerns about the makeup of the B and high E), so the silk part is either at the ball end and/or part of an inner wrap on the wound strings. Also, I believe the gentleman that posted a video here saying these are horrible don't buy them possibly had his high E and G tuned an octave too low or something - it didn't sound quite right in the clip nor anything like mine did when I got it tuned up proper. Nice warm tone in my opinion. Quite a looser feel compared to the other brands/gauges I've tried so far. I can definitely do a full step bend on acoustic now when tuned to standard pitch. But I also sanded about 1/16th of an inch off my saddle when I changed to these so I'm not entirely sure how much of the change was doing that versus the strings themselves. 1/16th is not that much though. First impression, these strings may be my new personal choice for my acoustic. I'll update the review if something goes haywire later.

Fantastic strings
These strings are similar to the monel strings Toney Rice used. Nickel strings. They are just sulked. Really are warm! No bright overtones. You can hear the actual voice of the guitar. The 11.5 - 47 tension, are so easy to play. Far more easy on left hand. Especially with a low action. Try them out! You won’t be sorry. Try them with a Dawg style pick. Phenomenal tone!

Protect you acoustic guitar
Too many acoustic guitar are strung with the WRONG strings. Too much tension from thick strings will belly the flat top and tilt the bridge forward. The tension could bow the neck also. Yes you may be able to adjust the truss rod to try to straighten the neck but if the top gets bellied too far, the guitar will become unplayable. The Martin silk core strings are much lower tension strings and easier to bend while playing. There isn't another string available that combines the combination of tone, comfortable play and keeping the tension in check to protect your instrument from being ruined. This is the ONLY acoustic string I use....

Easy to Play, Sound Great.
I was actually looking at several gauges from this line and bought these accidentally. I was looking for a very light gauge and probably wouldnt have tried these unless the 10s were too light (but a review for these did catch my eye). Anyway, they’re really nice. Easy to play (especially for 11.5) and have a nice, nuanced sound. I don’t see a need to drop down to the 10s.
