Not Perfect, but Good Value.
Not a perfect standing desk, but good value for what you pay. At the end of the day, it gets the job done for a fraction of the cost. I'm happy, and would recommend to others, but only if they fully internalized the concerns I've explained at the bottom. What you get: - Good standing desk - Easy and quick enough to raise/lower, considering that it's manual - Relatively sturdy (again, price) What you do not get - Aesthetically cutting edge - High brow parts/tabletop - Easy/quick assembly - It's probably not a lifetime product if you have to reassemble many times over the years. - Perfect sturdiness *** Main Drawbacks / Concerns *** 1. Not as stable as I would have hoped. BUT - Solution has been found - see pictures. Solution: Styrofoam on the back of the desk, pushed up against a wall. The desk doesn't budge a millimeter. If you grab the thing and shake, it moves, but none under normal circumstances now. Typing, writing, etc, is all fine. If I didn't have this solution, I would have been dissapointed with the shake. Granted, I've only ever used $1k+ standing desks in a corporate setting, this is my first experience with the $200 market. 2. You move frequently. Some of the parts do not line up perfectly, and I may have stripped some threads on the leg (screw was fine) putting it together. Not my fault, things just didn't line up no matter how much pulling/tugging I did with multiple people. I eventually got the screw in at a slight angle, and the desk is fully assembled. Not sure how many re-assemblies this could take though.

Great Desk, Check YouTube for Assembly help
I've had it about two weeks and love it. Not only that but the customer service was top notch. They actually gave me a desk that didn't assemble properly but were able to quickly provide a very easy fix to get me back on track. It only took about 25 minutes to assemble and I thought it was rather easy (I'm a big burly man though). I also prefer this as I have a sit stand at work that's electronic for raising up and down and it has broken down twice already. So having the manual adjustment at home is nice and it's rather easy and kinda fun to crank it up and down. I have noticed it is a tiny bit wobbly at the top height when I first engage with the keyboard. (I'm tall so have to use it a bunch). Overall I love the desk so far and the only thing I need now is something to raise the monitor and better cushioning for my feet so I can stand longer! Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars Assembly was a little tiresome because of the wrong part issue. Even with that resolved I did have to find a YouTube video for piecing one part of the desk together which was a lifesaver because it helped get the crossbar in when I was having a lot of difficulty. The Customer Service that was provided was excellent. The desk Sturdiness is pretty solid overall it would have been a 4.5 if that was an option. The Value for money is great so far.

Bought desk used. Still works great. Easy set up. Fairly Sturdy
I bought this desk used for 70 dollars off. All the pieces were present and I was able to assemble the desk by myself in less than half an hour. The desk is able to raise and lower very smoothly with a handle which can be attached on either side of the desk. I am 6 feet tall and the desk raises high enough where I can work standing up without having to slouch. I figured that this desk was pretty much always going to be in the standing position, so i didn't feel the need to get an electric powered desk. As advertised, (because i bought it used) it came with some obvious chips on the back. But the front and top of the desk were still in good shape and structurally sound. These cosmetic defects would be facing the wall and did not bother me in one bit when I put the desk in its final position.

Good hardware, but with composite wood top.
When the product arrived. The right hand side corner was chipped, I then realized that the table was made of a cheaper composite wood. Just keep that in mind. But the hardware is well built and made, and it was easy to assemble and fit in my room. The crank is easy to use and operate, and the table adjusts to height beautifully and looks sleek. Highly recommend for a cheaper option to the crazy 800$+ desks.

Well Build Table but Poor Instructions.
I received my table today. Most of you have question about the tabletop. Mine came with a tabletop. The tabletop is in 2 pieces and you screw them together per the instructions. The packaging so far is the best I have seen. I order furniture from Pier One and this table is well packed and protected. The only issue I have is screwing the legs to the table. There are no pre drill holes or markings. So you have to guess and measure yourself so the legs are center. A marking on the under side of the tabletop would be great. I installed the legs the wrong way. Two of the eight screws are gone. I don’t know what the furniture guys call it, the two holes are pretty much unthreaded and the screw falls off the hole. The wooded tabletop can’t hold the screw once you try to screw them again. The crank works great. For the price and the problem with the unmarked underside, I would buy this table again.

Good legs garbage tabletop
the legs seem sturdy and have shown know sign of failing to hold up my pretty massive monitor stand setup. the only issue is the tabletop seems to be super cheap and came without pre drilled holes or any real way to secure the tabletop to the legs. I've already ripped out 3 screws just putting it together and moving it into place. I'll probably make my own tabletop for it eventually but if you want something that works as it comes dont buy this. Short: Tabletop cheap and no way to properly secure it to legs. legs sturdy and functional.

High quality adjustible desk frame
This is a high quality, well-engineered adjustable desk frame. Heavy and stable, smoothly finished, and attractive. Incredibly excellent value. I've been looking for something like this for years and am extremely happy with this product: it allows you to buy your own desk top surface instead of having to accept the cheap ones supplied by most office furniture outlets. Think of the possibilities: hardwood, softwood, any color you want to stain or paint it, any surface at all that accepts anchoring screws. The manual crank is easy to work, raising the desk from lowest to highest position in under 60 - 90 or so seconds. Love that you can adjust in on the fly and it's very, very stable even at the highest setting (I have a fifty-pound desk top). Assembly does take a couple of careful hours but well worth the effort. Can't wait to check out other Eletab products.
