Jura and Miele Perfection
We’ve been using this Copper Moon Guatemalan Antigua whole-bean coffee in both our Jura and Miele super-automatic machines, and it’s consistently excellent. It makes a very smooth, flavorful americano with a full, rich taste and a nice crema. One important detail for anyone with a super-automatic: the beans are not oily, which is critical because oily beans can cake up grinder chutes and cause long-term issues. These have been completely trouble-free. Edit / long-term update: I just noticed I’ve purchased this on Subscribe & Save 85 times (about a bag every two weeks), which works out to roughly 170 pounds over 3 years. Every bag has been consistent and fresh. If you’re running a Jura, Miele, or similar super-automatic and want a reliable light roast that won’t cause grinder problems, this is an easy recommendation. Edit: just saw I’ve bought this 85 times on my subscribe and save (a bag every 2 weeks) so that’s 170 pounds over 3 years and every time is perfect.

Not bad
Gotta be honest, not as good as I'd hoped for. The costa rican is much better. Slighty bitter when brewed strong, idk if I'd say it's FULL bodied like they say but the flavor is very strong. Use less beans than you usually would 💯💯💯 4 stars

LIGHT roast = smooth flavor! Aroma even wakes Rosie T. Cat.
Small* uniform beans perfectly LIGHTLY roasted for rich smooth flavor , no bitterness and and maximum caffeine! Freshly ground makes excellent espresso in my stove top Moka.pot. I'm no expert but I've been brewing my own espresso for the last 30 plus years and sampling many beans in the process but so far this Copper Moon** beats them all. *I have no idea if these cute little beans are mature or young ones picked before they get knocked about by life's challenges, but gazing upon them briefly is calming as in. all is right in the world calmness.. *I have no interest in the Copper Moon Company nor have I been promised anything by he brewers Also I have not been promised anything by Copper Moon for my positive review.

Professional Review
I am SCAE Certified (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe) and I used to operate a coffee shop and roastery. I give this coffee a 2.5 stars (rounded to 3). The value is great. $18 for 2lbs. But the coffee was not freshly roasted. There was no roast date listed on the package. There was a "best used by date" on the package, which if the company gave a 1 year date on that from roasting would mean the coffee had been siting in the warehouse for 3 months before I received it. That would explain the stale taste. If you are looking for freshly roasted coffee as I do, this is not your coffee. This is not a light roast. It is more on the dark end of a medium roast. There were also roasting defects, like charred and scorched beans. The coffee worked okay for a latte, but you had to pull nearly a perfect shot otherwise the taste got off quick. It did not work for a pour over. The coffee was too bitter and it was not smooth. I liked the value but the quality was too poor for my tastes for me order again. However, this coffee is better than most coffee bought in the grocery store. It's not specialty grade coffee, but if you are looking for a medium grade coffee that won't break the bank then this is worth giving a try.

The Guatemala Blend is Not Light Roast
I should have read the reviews more carefully. I ordered light roast and got a good price, however the coffee in the package is dark roast and has a carbonized, dull taste. Yes, it says it is a light roast but this is false advertising. It raises a logical question: is anything this coffee provider describes on its packaging true or is everything they claim a lie? Are the beans even Arabica? Should they be investigated by the FDA? Everyone who likes a genuinely light roast coffee is going to be playing Russian Roulette if they order from this vendor. Maybe you'll get lucky but don't count on it. Yes the price is low for a reason: their product is not as described.

Enjoyable cup of coffee
More of a medium roast but makes for a nice cup of coffee with no bitterness, nicely acroamatic. Beans are smaller variety but packed with flavor. I will order again for the price. Guatemalan beans are my favorite source.

Normally coffee beans once roasted can last two years. This item was delivered to me with expiry date on Jan 2025!
