It works, was cheap, and will suffice for limited use. It is connected to my wife's iMac. It is a bit slow and makes a lot of noise. Since we rarely need to access CDs/DVDs this will do.

Does the job, great price👌
My old dinosaur desktop CD drive from 2005 finally blew up--and left me unable to import CDs to my iTunes library :-(. Went searching on Amazon and found this. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try; I didn't have to have the most expensive one. It does what I need--import CDs smoothly and quickly. Imported music sounds great on my devices. If all you need is a CD drive to import music for your device you can't go wrong with this gizmo (can't beat the price either!).

this never worked with my macbook air. Had to return it

Bought this to use it on my Macbook pro but it works erratically when plugged in to the Macbook, when plugged directly in a USB power source it works although very slow.

The disc stuck and wouldn't come out. Scrapped it.

Does not work
Zero Stars. This does not work with an imac even though it says it is for an imac. It doesn't show up on the computer or finder. I returned it immediately and got my money back swiftly.
