Wii Remote Controller White [2 Pack] (Renewed)

Our old remotes quit working after 15+ yrs. We were skeptical about refurbished but felt it was worth a shot as reviews from 3rd party remotes were all pretty negative. We received them earlier than originally quoted and synced easily to our Wii. They work perfectly after a couple of weeks of play without any issues. Are very happy with our purchase.

They are OEM remotes which is nice, but I would not say “Excellent” quality is a controller that’s a darker color, a painted backplate, stains under battery cover that would’ve been easily cleanable using alcohol, and very little rumble in one remote and no rumble in the other. May have to browse local shops to find a good remote and return these ones.

I'm very picky when it comes to gaming accessories. So when my old wii remotes were put out of commission due to battery acid leaking, the hunt was on. No store within a 100-mile radius carried them and 3rd-party brands that had a 50-75% chance of working for half the price wasn't worth it to me. The extra $20 for peace of mind was. They paired easily and I tested these out playing Mario Party 8. If anyone knows about that game, it involves all sorts of movement and button-pressing. They worked beautifully! Unlike what most reviews stated, mine were very clean when they arrived. Maybe I was lucky? Anyways, I'm super happy that I can play my wii again! Also, the straps weren't advertised in the listing. So don't expect them. Just had to throw that out there for those who were complaining about the straps. Read what you're getting before raising your expectations

I've had two of these for about a year and a half and just ordered another two. They're pretty decent but not great in my experience. One of the two in the initial order had a large 4-inch scrape on the front, but since it seemed to operate just fine, I decided not to return it. That one still works fine with maybe 5 hours of use per month for 1 year. The other one of the two in the initial order looked pristine and worked fine for maybe 6 months, then started to develop issues connecting to bluetooth. This won't matter to most people who are using these remotes with a Wii as intended, but I bought them to play Clone Hero (basically Guitar Hero on PC) with a Wiitar which requires the Wiimote to connect to a PC via bluetooth. The bluetooth on the second remote will connect and work fine for around 30 minutes, and then playing notes on the guitar will become extremely delayed and the keys on the screen will "stick" so to speak, and then the remote will disconnect entirely, shut off, and refuse to reconnect despite brand new batteries. It is 100% an issue with the remote after a thorough troubleshooting session. Hopefully since the other one still works I just got unlucky as these are refurbished and the two in my second order will work better and for longer.

Great products! They didn’t have the Wii handle straps but those are cheap to purchase in bulk! The controllers did have old battery corrosion built up where the batteries would be so I had to clean that out but that’s was the only problem. They have slight yellowing to the controller but they are used so you can’t complain there. One of the controllers also didn’t come with a back cover but that’s was also the only other issue relevant! Overall the controllers worked and they are official Wii products so they won’t break in 2 weeks!

After trying the 3rd party knock offs to try and pair it with a mayflash dolphinbar to no success, I just ended up buying an official nintendo wiimote, even though it was refurbished and has a little bit of dirt on it, it works very well and connected flawlessly with no problem whatsoever playing 2 players on it. Oh I though it only comes in a single wiimote but to my surprise it came as a pair of them, not bad actually, and I am happy with it.
