Cole Hersee 48162 Battery Isolator Review: It's ok, not perfect
It isolates the 2 batteries, but it cost me over $200 to get this thing installed on a delicately wired shuttle bus only to find out it would not work for me. I didn't do it myself as this bus had much more wiring than I am use to.But the thing I didn't like and DID NOT KNOW before I bought it is that this unit drops the voltage. My lights were dim, the wipers ran slow, etc... You get what I'm saying. I couldn't use it.I tried to return it to the seller, but all they were willing to do was to send me another one. What good will that do me. So I'm stuck with it.Summary is: If you don't mind the voltage drop, then it's ok. I can't use mine though.

I have the unit I have not installed it yet. I believe it will meet all my requirements for providing diode perfection to my primary 12v system, while providing a trickle charge to my secondary 12v system.
