Size:10 tons Capacity, 6" Reach This Posi Lock 106 manual puller has a 10-ton pulling capacity; has three jaws for equal load distribution, secure hold, and concentric pulling action; and is suitable for extracting shaft-fitted parts, including bearings, wheels, bushings, gears, and pulleys. Its jaws are made of forged steel for increased strength over investment casting, and are tapered for better access in tight spaces. The center bolt has a 0.62" (15.8 mm) diameter. The diameter of the center bolt must be at least half the diameter of the shaft along which the object is pulled. This puller has a 6" (152 mm) reach and a spread range of 0.5 to 7 inches (13 to 178 mm) for increased pulling leverage. It Works.
Good puller. Would be better if they used acme threads on the forcing screw instead of regular fine cut threading. The tool does come with the tip protector, very conveniently nowhere in the description do they tell you that…I bought this tool hoping to use it on a specific application but the jaw thickness was too much so its probably getting returned but the design it solid and I have the smaller ones already and use them frequently. Would be nice if they actually were clear as to where its made. Having bough these before they were labeled as made in USA, this one says nothing.expensive but it does work.

Posi Lock puller is GREATNESS.
For YEARS I have searched for a decent puller that doesn't slip off. The Posi Lock puller with the external cage is GREATNESS. The external cage follows the contour of the puller pawls smoothly regardless of the diameter being worked. Excellent working reach. Puts the, ahgem, `convenience` pullers to shame.I my drive shaft exercise, worked perfect to separate a pressed-on carrier bearing from an intermediate shaft.

The Real Deal
Awesome puller, quality product... The thing is huge. Paired mine with a deep socket and the milwaukee high torque impact. Pulls pulleys like butter, truly effortless. Made the mistake of showing this to some co workers, now i keep getting calls to borrow my posilock. Worth every penny.

Best puller out there
If you use a puller often you know how awesome the posi lock feature is. Tons of strength and no slipping. I would definitely recommend this product.

best puller on the market and easiest to use, I work in industrial maintenance the 106 has the size range for most of the repairs we do.I also own a108 & 110 posi lock pullers great for the bigger jobs.

Great puller
this is a great product, you can torque on this thing big time and never have to worry about it slipping (as long as you've got enough surface area to grab on). They are expensive but safer and much better built than most other pullers out there.
