will this fit a lane recliner

It fits the lazy boy. Not sure about Lane.

Can someone clarify the star and square fittings for this handle? i've got a square rod attached to my handle. do both fittings come with the handle?

My chair has the square rod too. but this fit just fine. I think the star fitting is just so you can position the handle in just the right spot. This handle fit my 1983 Lazy-boy chair perfectly,

Is there a similar replacement recliner handle that is longer? up to 15-inches preferably with a full tang internal strengthening rod in the handle?

This is the only one I could find. Is a perfect fit.
