Thalictrum 'Splendide'

Plant ordered on 19th April, despatched on 23rd and received on 24th, which is excellent service considering it was the Easter weekend. The plant is sturdy and looks in very good health. It was very well packaged and does not appear to have suffered at all in transit. I am absolutely delighted with my first purchase from Westcountry Nurseries and will certainly use them again in the future. Based on my first experience of ordering from them, I would certainly recommend them.

Overall effect and value for money

[Edit: Added photo to show progress. Very pleased!] I had this on my wish list for months but put off purchasing because of the price of post and packing. Failed to find the specific variety in local garden centres, so took the plunge as I was certain I wanted it. When it arrived it was clear that tremendous care and thought had gone in to ensuring it arrived safely. Totally worth it. Plant looked very healthy and so its future success will be all on me now!

Growing really fast and very healthy. Supplied quite a fragile plant but with TLC it evolves into a healthy plant. Looking forward to when it blooms. Lovely plant recommended by Monty Don on gardeners world. Eye catching

Very disappointed, a very small plant with one leaf stalk which despite TLC has started to die back

Good strong plants - now growing well in my flower bed. They need a little staking as the stems are quite delicate at first.

Well wrapped healthy looking plant. Can't wait to plant it and watch it grow.

Very pleased with this. Yes it did look nothing more than a stick, but, the new growth flourished in no time and it was expertly packaged.Edit; it has grown well in it's 2nd year and is just about to start flowering. Great!
