Good product
When connecting device using vga cable color is off Green blue color so had to use it with a hdmi cable however if your monitor does not have speakers attached you are not able to plug a speaker in using aux cable no sound you have to buy a separate adapter with an aux port then you will get sound there are other options for 20$ more that come with this function as the separate adapter is 10$ more

Out of date player
I only needed this to play my DVD library. Wouldn't do it. Will not play any recent MP4 videos or recorded TV video either. Plays the old stuff just fine, but we don't live in the past...
