Absolutely love these . Wanted something to add to our porch for our fall decorations. A friend told us they made lights that looked like flames, so l found different ones on Amazon and ordered these because l needed several for my porch. Got enough to go all away around my porch and really like how it looks with them all on. Great quality and value, no noise. Would be great indoor or outdoor. Very easy to install. Just screw in the light socket..

I wanted lights that simulate the randomness dancing of flames for wall sconces in a 90 yr old home. I have no dimmer switches or anything like that so modes didn't interest me. I must have searched 2 dozen different manufacturers of LED flame lights. Reading each page from the top to the bottom, over and over. Only a few will have video on the product page that shows the actual light on. Most have vague descriptions and stock edited photography and not an actual image of the light in action. I found several wonderful looking flame shaped glass bulbs but the "flame" flickering did not resemble fire at all. Others would be in perfect synchronation and since I have 4 bulbs it would look silly, more like a neon sign dancing in unison. Others were as bright as a 60 watt equivalent bulb, way too bright for my application. I tried cheap ones, I tried the ones with the most ratings.... Not what I was looking for. Finally I saw these, the most expensive of all I looked at. The video on the product description showed it was definitely a light with flame behavior but would it be too bright?! I wanted dim light, simulating candles. Well these lights are exactly what I was looking for all along. They may cost a little bit more but these lights look so cool! The one single thing I do not like is the shape of the glass, a flame tip case would have been neat but with such great lighting effects one doesn't even notice. I almost want to buy another for the porch outside... EDIT REVIEW: After a month and a half two of my four bulbs have burned out. I LOVED THESE AT FIRST but the first bulb died literally 5 days after the 30 day replacement guarantee, as if programmed to haha. Save your money, these lights are really cool and set a great atmosphere but what's the point if they last only a month!? And they were $40 for four of them!

Really great flickering flame effect if you want a warm lantern look for your home. The only downside: used every night, they last 6 months. Every one of them started failing at 6 months, but they are great for the entire 6.

Love the bulbs. They look so real. I placed them in hanging fixtures and they look like flames burning. Impressive !

These are better than the last generation I bought serval years ago. Much more realistic to how a candle flickers. Little more yellow with the orange glow. I use them in a bedroom lamp for that night time glow.

My step-dad got a couple of these for our D&D setup, and didn't like the color because he wanted them to be the very fake orange that most flame bulbs put off. I traded him my orange ones and took his home. I put one in my frosted lawn lamp and turned it on during a snowy day, and it looks like a perfect flame in terms of color. It's a nice, rich, pinkish yellow. Genuinely impressed by these bulbs, so I bought multiple packs to have essentially a lifetime supply for my lamp.

I’ve tried many of these with utter disappointment as I assume many of you have. These are pricey but well worth the money. Very realistic. Excellent product.!

Quite happy with the lamps, they give a good effect, not as big as I hoped but I should have looked at the size of the base compared to the lamp and that would have given me a better idea.
