Excellent Build Quality and Easy to Use.
I used this last winter, and it performed perfectly. The wood handle is sturdy and the grip is comfortable to use. The size is perfect for digging into a snow bank, however, I did end up also getting the 36" size to help clear a bunch of sidewalks, which is perfect, as it clears them more quickly and is still easy enough to maneuver around corners and objects. This size is perfect for snow banks and such. The plastic shovel part helps keep it light and easier to use, and yet is certainly strong, along with with not rusting. A great snow shovel.

My new main snow fighter
I had my snow shovel for 20 years. It did a great job but finally this last snowfall did it in and the metal edge band broke off. I needed a replacement I could count on. Enter THE SNOW DOMINATOR. This snow shovel is awesome. It assembled quick and easy. It’s just as big and able to scoop as my last shovel (I push a shovelful and then toss it into the bed of my truck. That way I get the snow out of the way and weight in case I need to drive the truck anywhere in the snow). I like the shape and feel of it and it scrapes perfectly and doesn’t seem to have the annoying tendency to get caught on cracks like my metal edged one.

Great shovel - you get what you pay for !
Nice shovel. Gets down to the pavement in most situations. I like to have the ability to just replace the shovel blade and not throw away the entire shovel when the edges wear down.

Worth it
Let me start by saying I plow snow for a living in the winter, and live in Maine. I typically buy two shovels per year from the big box stores. They are about 25-30 dollars. I buy two because I need a spare for when one breaks, which I know it will. One usually makes it to late January or early Feb, the next depends on how much wet heavy snow we get in Feb-March. I had read about this shovel on www.plowsite.com, and had put off buying it because of the price, and the fact that I had 2 shovels already. One broke late Feb, on schedule, and I finally bought the dominator. Wow. I wish I had done it years ago. It is durable, and the plastic is heavy duty. I was skeptical about a plastic shovel, and it not being able to scrape very well. This shovel on my first storm scraped down so good I spent an extra 30 minutes at one property scraping up the hard pack my other shovel had left behind all winter. I'm talking 2-3 inches of hard pack. I actually felt like I owed it to my customer to do what the other shovel should have done all winter. The hardpack is due to their dogs running up and down the steps, as well as them walking up and down the stairs to get the paper etc, and it is concrete. I cannot attest to its durability or longevity yet, but I will be sure to update it, and will be ordering another one next fall. Also, the few storms we have had that were wet heavy snow, nothing stuck to. I can't say how many times I have gone to throw the snow and almost blew my back out because the snow stuck to the shovel. Very pleased with this product, the shipping was fast, assembly was a breeze. Thank you for making a quality product.

Great shovel.
I used to work in commercial snow removal. These were our go to shovels. I haven’t used one in a few years but I just put the dominator together and it snowed this week. These shovels seem to still have the same quality.

Compares well to my favorite the Big Foot shovel.
Nice sturdy shovel. Very little snow sticks to it.

Nice shovel
Does the job, seems durable enough. One important item to note. There is no metal wear strip/ice chipper edge on this shovel. I've only used this once, and it does the job well enough. I do have concerns for longer term durability. I hope the manufacturer improves this design and adds the metal wear strip.

Best snow shovel I have ever had.
I live in the north east and have owned snow shovels since before we bought our house 30 years ago. I tried one of their scrappers last year and love it. I needed a new shovel so I thought I would drop the bis bucks and get their shovel. Best shovel ever! Solid feel yet very light. I can control it well over surfaces I fear scratching yet it handles ice chunks no problem.it also has a longer handle than typical shovels.
