This variety is partially self-fertile. For the heaviest crops it is best grown with another variety.

Will this come as a twig in April or will it have leaves by now?

It arrived in March and started to flower in late April. You don't transport plants with leaves they get damaged .modern way is no soil or leaves

Should I being the plant indoor in winters?

Not necessary to bring indoors but should be placewd in a sheltered position. You could surround it with insulation such as bubble wrap or put the pot into a bigger pot and put insulation in between the pots to protect. I put mine in a corner behind the garage on an up turned saucer on a brick and it has been fine.
