Funko POP! Heroes: DC Comics - Batman 80th - Batman (1989)

I just started buying Funko Pop characters and I have to say that I can see why it becomes such an obsession. These things are pretty darn cool and they are often cheap enough that you can easily collect many at once. I love BATMAN, particularly THE DARK KNIGHT, and I wanted to find a Funko version that resonated with me. I realize this is not THE DARK KNIGHT version. Honestly, it's kind of hard for me to tell which version is which with all the movies that were released. Come to find this is the 1989 version with Michael Keaton, which is absolutely fine with me since I think Keaton was the best Batman of that era. I chose this character because I thought it looked the coolest. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. This Batman replica has so much detail to it, right down to the Batarang Boomerang. This came well packaged, saw no flaws in the paint job, and I am really impressed with how meticulously everything has been recreated. Just look at the tiny little logo on the suit. Quite extraordinary. No, you won't go wrong with this Funko Pop recreation. If you love Batman, this is the one you want to get!

I will start out by saying this - if you plan on keeping this in the box, you might want to pass on the purchase. The box itself is absolutely enormous but very poorly constructed. I’m not sure over time that the packaging can support the 10+ pounds of vinyl figurine. This was definitely meant to be on display in your Funko collection, out in the open. Now besides that, I can find zero faults with this Batman. There was some confusion over the actual size during the pre-orders, but it is 18” tall as promised. It’s massive. Absolutely massive. Thankfully it’s easy to display, as 75% of the weight is in the body itself. It’s far from top heavy, so it’s extremely stable. The overall quality is fantastic and honestly the price is fair, considering how much more material it’s composed of vs a typical 10$ Batman Pop. If you’re a Batman and Funko fan, and you’ve got the room to spare, this could be the centerpiece of your display. We purchased Batman to watch over our server, and he’s doing a great job. 10/10, perfect execution, solid value, zero regrets.

My friend's son recently turned 18 and graduated high school in the same week. We had a little get-together with his family, and he is a giant Batman fan. So one of the things that I wanted to find was the 1989 Michael Keaton Batman Funko, because I knew he would absolutely love this thing. He really likes that version of Batman said it's the best one out of all of the series, I agree with him. The box came in great condition everything looks good he hasn't taken it out of the box so I can't completely talk about like the quality of the paint or anything but from what we can see inside the box it looks really good I should have ordered one for myself as well

It is very rare to see batman in blue suit. Celebrating 80 years of Batman with this Funko can't get any better. Batman from 1977 action film 'Batman & Robin' is a classic, but this if you are a DC fan or if you are searching for a perfect gift for your nerdy friend go for it.
