Crystal Light Pitcher Packets, Classic Orange, 2.5 OZ

We love this product. It is a great alternative to sugar laden orange juices or drinks. While not at all an exact taste replica of orange juice or even Tang, we find it's crisp orange citrus flavor and light finish to be very pleasing. We actually prefer the mixing 1 flavor packet to 2.75 - 3 quarts water, in lieu of the 2 quarts recommended; as a bonus it stretches a bit further while suiting our taste. It is extremely refreshing over ice. I keep a filled pitcher at work and at home and am satisfied drinking that and water over the course of the day. This product has good taste, low calories and supplies all the vitamin c your body needs and calcium for growing bones. I like to fill a one gallon milk jug with one packet at reduced strength to stretch the goodness. This is one of my very favorite products.

Flavor great, value great, but last oder had open pouchesand powder was hard.

When I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I realized I needed to change some of my eating habits. I realized a glass of orange juice in the morning was too high in sugar and too low in fiber, so I looked for a decent tasting alternative. Crystal Light Sunrise Classic is the perfect substitute for my morning OJ. It tastes great, has no carbohydrates, and even has Vitamin C and Calcium in it. It's the perfect breakfast drink for people watching their weight or their carbohydrate intake. I LOVE IT!

I've been drinking various flavors of Crystal Light for years, and before I was diagnosed as diabetic, I drank Tang fairly often. Crystal Light Classic Orange pretty much is sugar-free Tang.When I asked my grocery store (Tops) to stock this item, they apparently thought that a 20-year customer should not have the temerity to make such an outlandish request (sarcasm intended) and completely disregarded it.The service from VSD has been excellent. They ship generally within 24 hours of order placement, and the product arrives in good shape. I would order from them again.

Does it taste like real orange juice? No. But being a type 2 diabetic, this is about the closest substitute to orange juice for me, but without the carbs and sugar of the real thing that drive my blood glucose level up.

I was hoping for the old Classic Orange with no carbs, but this is the new version with 10 grams of carbohydrates per pitcher packet. I love the taste, but I wish they'd go back to the zero carb version. Now I drink less of this than I used to, and I'm always looking for zero carb alternatives.

My husband likes this product. Since he is diabetic, it is better for him than orange juice. We have trouble finding this product in the grocery store, so I get it from Amazon.
