Loved the way you get everything (plumbing) that's needed to make a composting toilet! I did ad a van in the box that blows outside and there is no smell!!

Installed this in our Skoolie, which houses myself, wife and kids. Have to say that this worked well while we remodeled and got our composting toilet in. . Kids have no problems using it. Loved that the box had a stencil you could use to make your opening with. All in all good product.

It's a bit expensive for what it is, but does what it needs to to do. I originally bought the 500, which is also WAY expensive for what was a peice of cheap foam attached to what is essentially the same diverter. This (the 501) is a huge improvement. I feel like I can just sit down and use it without a whole lot of body adjusting, unlike my previous 500 Sepparett. And it's not falling apart. Nor does a small gust of wind send it flying like the 500. If you want a toilet top to build your own separating/composting/dry toilet system around it is a good, if pricey, item to buy.

We we able to make a composting toilet that would have cost around a thousand dollars with this excellent product. Highly recommend! I will update with a photo soon.

The husband used this to install a compostable toilet for our travel trailer. Works as expected.

The urine diverter is attached to the toilet seat which is a no-go for a man. Hence, always get a urine diverter whereby you can lift the toilet seat without lifting the urine diverter. Why? Because men urinate throughout the day and like to stand not sit. So the urine diveter should double as a urinal annd can't when it's attached to the seat. Also, make sure your urine diverter is deep enough whereby you can pee while standing and not splatter.
