Solid Low-Speed Workhorse
Picked up this Bringsmart 60ktyz 5rpm AC motor for a small project I was working on. It's exactly what I needed - a reliable low-speed motor without the complications. The 5rpm is spot-on as advertised, with consistent torque throughout operation. No weird noises or heating issues even after running it for several hours. The build quality is surprisingly good for the price point.Installation was straightforward with the mounting holes lining up perfectly. Power consumption is minimal, and it starts up reliably every time.

Not the best option
Lasted 2 days and now makes a loud squealing noise whenever it’s on.

Really quiet
Super quiet and strong little thing. Used as rocker motor for home made egg incubator.Motor is installed with a 2:1 reduction by use of #25 chain and sprockets to reduce rocking speed while doubling overall torque output with the 1rpm motor. Incubator holds up to 48 dozen chicken eggs and this little motor rocks them 35 degrees from one side to the other (70 degrees travel) with no problem, strong little motor. It cannot be heard running inside the incubator cabinet even with the door open, it is super quiet. 9 months use on the incubator now, motor has been fully loaded for weeks at a time and no issues with the motor which rocks egg trays from one side to the other every 2 hours. Wiring was no problem, husband said hot leg goes in the middle hole and neutral to top hole or bottom hole depending on which direction you want it to turn. Husband said he also ran a frame/case ground for safety. As a large cabinet incubator rocker motor it's doing the job wonderfully.

gets hot
Even with no load on motor after 30 minutes it was too hot to comfortable keep your hand on the surface of motor . Though i let it run for two hours a couple of times under load without incident, but i dont see it holding up over time as the motor becomes noticeably louder as it heats up. but its a really strong motor i got the 5 rpm version there are just no vents of any kind on this thing for cooling, it appears to be sealed casing.

SAVED THE GLIZZY ROLLER!!!!!
We were in need of this motor for our shop Hot Dog (Glizzy Machine). This came just in time and kept the dogs turning and evenly cooking. So glad it saved the day.

Works well
The media could not be loaded. I was having torque issues like others have stated. I also am creating halloween decorations and wanted to try the flying ghosts over a large area. After I tried different rpm's I settled on the 60 rpm motor. The motor would work fine for a while and then start to slip. I was about ready to give up or redesign the whole project. Then I reversed the motor rotation and all was good (after a few adjustments). It appears I was trying to pull 2 sides uphill and pushing 1 side downhill. Even though the motor is now pulling the longest run uphill it does not slip.

No torque
No torque. Just brush my hand up against it and it stops the motor.
