Jumbo Walnuts - In the Shell Natural - 3 lb. Pouch Bag

I eat these walnuts on my oatmeal every morning. I like to crack them with a hammer on a cutting board. They've always been fresh and yummy. I order them over and over because they're heart healthy and taste good. . I seal the bag and put it in the fridge. A high quality product.

Every year my husband loses it (in a good way) over shelled walnuts during the holiday season. He used to crack these with his grandfather as a child, so there is a certain amount of nostalgia attached to his passion for quality nuts. ;D I typically have a hard time finding anything for a reasonable price locally so I turned to Amazon this year to source our Walnut stash. I was happy to find this 3 lb bag and I hope this will last through our holidays this season. I was slightly nervous to order these online as I had generally read reviews saying that most nuts bought online were stale HOWEVER I had two nut connoisseurs taste-test this batch and they were fresh and perfect. I am very happy with this purchase and so are my family and guests - what more could you ask for around Christmas? :)

Product is good for the money.

I get these for my pet parrot who LOVES them. I freeze them and take a few out every day. I rouge a few for myself too and they are fat and delicious. They seem so much better than the ones sold in grocery stores. Service was great too. Came quickly. My parrot and I both LOVE these. Freeze them and they stay fresh forever it seems.

Update: I haven't bought these again and won't. Now I buy my walnuts from Nuts.com in 5 pound bags.I bought these for the squirrels and glad I didn't buy them for me to eat. Maybe I got a bad bag but they look old several shells were broke and have very dark areas. The price is Great and I will buy again for the squirrels, so my granddaughter has fun watching them come get em. I didn't try to eat any so have no idea how they taste.

I order these walnuts for my pet squirrel. They are good quality and good size. Have ordered others and have been disappointed with quality and size. These are awesome! Thanks for such a great product!

These walnuts were mostly okay but definitely not fresh and about 10% were obviously rancid or completely dried up (visibly dark outside shell and inside nut meat).They are California walnuts and are bigger than regular walnuts (they barely fit in the top of my Drosselmeyer nutcracker). I'm not sure if they are better or worse but the freshest ones have little flavor, like others I've bought online.anuts has fresher in-shell walnuts and also fresh in-shell brazils, so I'll continue to buy from them.

Great taste. Other walnuts I have bought tasted bitter. These are good & you get a large bag for the money.
