Fun Unicycle - Silver, 24 Inch

The add says it's black, but it's chrome / silver. I bought this to learn to unicycle, I'm 5'11" and weigh 11.5 stone. The seat post was easily within my height range. I've been training now for a few weeks; I've had to change the pedals. Constant falling off damaged the thin outer 'cage'. They were only cheap pedals and probably designed to be used inside. I've done all my training outside, so the pedals have had some stick. I've replaced them with a BMX style platform pedal. A lot easier to control and my feet don't slip off as much now. Also the tyre is nearly worn out. This is because turning on the spot and training to 'rock' concentrates the wear in one of two places all time. I'm going to replace the tyre for a slightly wider one (standard 1.75). Also the seat has taken some damage and has torn the vinyl cover. I think the front and back handles could be wider to cover more of the main seat. To sum up....this is doing the job and is robust enough for constant training / use. I'll need to change the seat if I keep falling off!! The pedals won't last long if you do your training out doors. I think it's good general value, but you'll need to upgrade if you want something for more serious stuff.
