Good read for Venkateshwara and Agama Shastra Devotees
Agama Shastra is the ancient science of Sanathana temples including architecture as well as practices laid down by the Sage Vaikhasana, and learning about the same with illustrated content offers very few options. Tiruamala, the Sacred foods of Gods is a wonderful well illustrated content and clearly explains the history, architecture as well as the Pooja vidhanams to Sri Venkateshwara, Lord of the seven hills. It is a good read for all interested in knowing about the temple.

The author could have given greater details and insights into the Agama Shastras. The book is good.

Bhagavan Prasadam
Really a good read book have lot of information related to Neyvediyam.Photos are really good quality.Print on paper is very pleasant to read.Hard bound and good quality paper.Light weight and can be read by single hand (by me ) .What I liked was great was each section serve it’s own purpose of detailed accord and insight of most sought knowledge. It’s in plain English of very common vocabulary. Those who know Hindi can easily understand as methi , Kali mirch , chawal , moong dhal etc are mentioned along with English language.I’ve not tried all the recipes but as a word of caution mind the quantity suggested by keeping number of serving.

Excellent !
The very topic interested me, content is extremely well presented. It is just not another cookbook, here is a compilation from the shāstras and āgamas that explain how through jnāna, bhakti and shraddhā culinary preparations transform into Naivedya and by divine grace into 'Prasāda'.The cover on the hard bind is so well thought of that the unpasted Title of book printed on ribbon can be removed and lo! you have a Tanjore Painting that can be framed right away ! thats a gift :)'Nutritional value of prasadam' part is absolutely superfluous and seemingly drags us back to material world abruptly.A peek into the divine kitchens of Tirumala is just awesome, an overview of the Vaikhanasāgama and contextual references from the Bhagavad Gita reconnects us to our roots and sanctifies our convictions. This book is a gift for us and a treasure for elders.

Excellent
Well presented and well written. I don’t think this is intended as a cookbook as some people have remarked that the quantities in the recipes are humongous.A beautiful book to gain knowledge, own and gift

Interesting Cook Book
1. Beautiful cover page which can be seperate from the book if you want to frame the beautiful picture2. Recipies begin on page 80 and end on page 116! But you get ALL recipies the way it is cooked for Lord Tirumala.3. Rest of the pages have many other details related to Temple worship while offering food, many photos of devotees and kitchen etc.4. All recipies are given for cooking in huge quantity. You will have to calculate carefully to cook accurately.5. All recipies are written in a very simple way.6. Quality if pages, print, photos are all matchless.
