OK... you want to send someone a great food-based gift box? The Dulcets Gourmet Muffin Sampler Gift Basket is a really good choice. I received the box today, and we (as in the family) has enjoyed the "fruits of my reviewing", so to speak...The variety box is perfect in terms of an assortment of flavors. I personally went for the chocolate chip muffin, while my two sons scarfed down the banana and cranberry flavors. All of the muffins were fresh, just as if they had come out of the oven earlier in the day. The size of the muffins were a surprise, as they had some substance. Granted, they're not Costco-sized, but they're more than what you'd end up with in a regular muffin tin. Given the taste, I have no problems believing that Dulcets uses quality ingredients for their baking.Presentation was exceptional... The outer box is decorative *and* protective, so nothing was crushed or damaged. It came wrapped with ribbon, it had decorative tissue inside, and the muffins are sealed in plastic to make sure they are as fresh as possible. Again, these were very moist and fresh... and delicious!They are definitely priced at a gift-box level, and the packaging is targeted for that purpose. $50 for 6 Muffins that don't taste great........ I don't think so. Go to your local grocery store.
