Q: Is this glove for either hand?

One glove for each hand; it is not an ambidextrous glove. They work really well and cover the arms more than adequately.

Q: What is the real shipping weight for this item? 5 POUND as is it stated here is no real i think...

The gloves are not heavy, not 5 lb. They are made of one layer of thick cloth, no lining. These arrived with other items and so I cannot tell you how much the individual package would have weight.

Q: I got mine dirty while camping (which worked fantastic!), can you wash them?

When used as intended, for putting things in a hot autoclave and taking hot things out of a hot autoclave they tend to get wet. I have never seen any damage to them after getting wet from the hot steam and moisture on the glassware that I was autoclaving. I just looked at the description on line at Amazon and it does say that they are machine washable. So go ahead and wash them, they should be fine.
