Q: Having trouble stripping 12/2 Romex. Cutter doesn't seem to completely cut the sheathing. Is there a trick to it?

Make sure that the straight cut portion of the tool faces the discardable portion of the sheathing (in other words, that the beveled portion faces the remaining portion of the cable) and use a slight back and forth wrist action on the tool when stripping.

Q: Wonder what the difference between nmb and nmd90?

The NMD90 is for stripping the jacket of Canadian NMD-90 Romex. The NMB model is for standard Romex.

Q: What's the difference between nmd-90 cable and nm-b cable?

The 'B' is for a temperature rating, usually 90 deg Celcius (you sure the 90 doesn't go with the 'B'?); NMD cable has a downsized ground wire, and as such, is not usable in the US.
