Yes, and I was concerned it might not work but it ws the substitution it said it was.

Battery charged right up and worked great.

These batteries fit perfectly in my Stihl GTA-26 pruner and charge just like authentic Stihl AS-2 batteries. The only difference is these are half the price! I haven't noticed they last longer or shorter than the AS-2 batteries. They seem to last for about twenty minutes of use which is similar to the AS-2 batteries.

Purchased these batteries to help extend the daily use of my electric pruner. They worked out great and lasted longer then the OEM batteries for the pruner. The other excellent advantage is the cost of two of these batteries was less than the cost of a single OEM battery. If you are using a Stihl GTA26 pruner I’d recommend these batteries as a complement to your pruner.

Too soon to tell! This replacement battery Fits, charges, and runs the equipment as advertised. But it is too soon to tell how long it will last. and I have not done a comparison to see how long it runs on a charge compared to the original battery. But -- everything looks good so far.
