Is that a brick in your pocket? Oh that's your phone, what century is it from?Not a flashy, sleek or sexy device. What it does do more than makes up for that to me. It lasts all day! Streaming or just trying to acquire a signal in the remote recesses of the world. It takes a beating freezing cold, summer heat, left it in the windshield on the dashboard no problems. Thermal troubleshooting just by reaching into your pocket no pelican case, no plug in or media transfer. Oh yeah and water proof design mean easy cleanup when it accidentally lands in hydraulic fluid. Easy planning with built in measure application. It's not a phone it's a tool you'll use all day long that also makes calls. I love this thing!!!

My s7 active has been demoted to shop music player. Using both daily, the Galaxy S7 is embarrassingly slow. The cat s61 has a lesser functioning screen. Dimming required an app to be useful driving at night. It's a tad heavy but not too bad. It's fast! No noticable lag. (Glares at galaxy s7). Bluetooth is strong, audio quality good. Battery about 2.5x the s7 active. Durability is as expected. However.... I put it in the bath a moment, you know... Just to see .. the speaker hates being wet. The camera is ok. Flir camera has been useful so far for: finding my black dog outside at night. Noting which cylinder is dead by looking at the headers while running. Also, to spot the coldest cider in the fridge. This is the only one with a LASER! Measures ok. It's the only phone I've liked in years.

I bought this phone for the FLIR imaging to use with my work but have found the phone to be very non user friendly. I dislike texting and it is more difficult to text on this phone than my last phone. It does not anticipate what you are typing very well either. If you need the FLIR capability you would be better off getting a separate FLIR camera. All in all I am completely dissatisfied with this phone and feel that I have wasted my money.Update: Now after 9 months my battery is failing in this phone and just a few months back I found out that it is not 4G compatible which you would expect from a phone bought only 9 months ago to be. My battery is discharging in about 8 hours after charging and I have made no changes to the apps on my phone. Don't waste your money on it or the S62 which also does not list if it is 4G compatible. Because of this I must replace the phone by end of year due to no more 3G availability. This is such a user unfriendly phone though that I can not wait to go back to something better.

So far so good. I am upgrading from a Samsung S7 active. I wanted a durable phone and this sure seems to be one. It is a big phone, but it still fits in my blue jean pocket. The FLIR camera works well. I love that it does not have all the bloatware that my old AT&T phone had on it. One of my only gripes is that it uses a different charging cable, so I need to replace all my MicroUSB charging cables to some nonstandard or new standard charging cable. I also have not figured out the measure in picture thing.The waterproof rating seems to be the real deal. I went snorkeling and brought it out to take some underwater pictures and it worked. It has an underwater mode that uses the volume button to take pictures because the touch screen does not work underwater. I have to admit I was a little nervous using my $800 smartphone as an underwater camera, so I put it up after 15 min of light diving. There are limitations to how deep the phone can go, 10 feet is it.A negative I have experienced is I can not make wifi calls with it. I read that it was AT&T that limited this and not the phone. I was able to use my old Samsung to make Wifi calls but not this one.Overall I am really happy with it.

I received the package notice battery won’t charge, took to repair and discovered the charger won’t work so had to buy a new charge, I contact the seller and got refund.Phone itself is a great phone, heavy duty if you work on construction site, screen is good, good phone
