Looks good on the desk, conference table, or festival booth; keeps my tea HOT not merely warm; simple manual touch controls, no AI or internet connectivity, no radio signal clutter from unneeded wifi or bluetooth or zigby transmissions. Oh, and no "idiot light" when it's turned off but still connected to power (it is always connected to power), but the temperature indicator lights are understated, attractive, and easy to read from twenty feet away. The temp light even stays on when the unit is off but your mug is still "steeping-temp" hot, until the mug cools to "merely warm", which is a nice safety feature.And my first Vobaga has lasted more than four years already and is going strong, looking like new! I'm buying a second one to take with me on the road so that I'll never need to unplug my home office Vobaga again.Seriously considering buying a third for downstairs so that I"m not constantly reheating my big mug of tea when I'm in the kitchen or family room.Oh, that reminds me of one thing that might be a drawback for you, with this mug warmer: the heating plate is slightly recessed into the top surface (on the new one too). So if the footprint of your big mug is wider than 3 and 5/8" (about 9cm), it won't make full contact with the hot plate. This cuts the heat transmission to your mug by about half... enough to keep it warm, but not hot enough for me. So I just use big mugs with slightly tapered bases, and they work fine. Your wide-base travel mug? not so much. Especially if it has a rubberized bottom. I wouldn't set a mug like that on the Vobaga at all because the rubber would insulate the tea even more than the little airspace would ...but also because, over time, the Vobaga at top setting is hot enough to gradually degrade the rubber, even though it isn't touching it directly! Imagine that tiny airspace becoming a coin-shaped low-power oven... Use a real mug. ;-)

Ordered this for my mom to help keep her coffee warm, as she always says how her coffee turns cold before finishing it. Simple set up and has worked great! She loves it!

I think this is a great warmer. You do have to have your coffee already hot as it does not heat up your cup of coffee, but it keeps it warm enough so that I can leave it for a bit without my coffee getting cold. It doesn't keep it super hot, but again, doesn't let your coffee get cold.

For the past five years I've used this mug warmer everyday at work. It's still going strong. It's consistent, stands up to minor spills and has yet to fail me in any way. I'm back to pick up another one for my office at home (it won't get quite the same abuse but hot coffee is a must anywhere). Highly recommend!

I have purchased several warmers and this is the best one so far. It heats coffee to a freshly brewed temperature and keeps it piping hot for the entire four-hour timer. The key is to use a mug with a flat bottom.

I ordered two of these and both barely keep my coffee warm. The other settings don't seem to do much at all. If you want to keep your beverage warm, this will work fine. But I prefer my coffee hot...and this product doesn't do that. I think this item would work better as a candle warmer than a beverage warmer.

I am a slow coffee/tea drinker, so by the time I finish my preferred beverage it is usually cold. No more!The warmer has 3 levels of temperatures & when you turn it off, a flashing indicator light displays until the surface temperature is 90f. It's a nice safety feature. It also automatically turns off after 4 hours. So, no worries about being forgetful.I bought 2 of these warmers, one for me & one for my spouse. We both love them.
