From China . Nowhere in ad was this mentioned. They were seized and destroyed by customs as an agriculture threat. That is legit.Even if not intentional, a parasite or plant virus could be loosed on the biosphere in this country. I do not want to purchase any plants, seeds or animals from overseas. I support this action but am pi"""" at Amazon . I'm out $25 and now my name is on a list somewhere as a potential felon in violation of customs law . I am NOT ok with that.

NOT JUMBO BULBS
I originally ordered these bulbs on 11 August 23. I just received them today, 16 October 23. They are not jumbo crocus bulbs. They are extremely small. I will plant them, but I do not expect them to grow. I cannot recommend this seller. Read the reviews before you order. That is what I should have done. I did not read reviews until I had a problem. I trusted that this seller would send me jumbo bulbs and they did not. They did however give me 2 more tiny, small bulbs. I got 32 instead of 30 very small bulbs. I am not happy with the product.

Buying plants is always risky and special care needs to be taken to be successful.
Well the bulbs can a bit sprouted which was ok but many of the bulbs were broken or moldy, which I didn’t like. I went through all the 60 bulbs I ordered very carefully cleaning, drying and sorting the good ones from the bad ones. That took a lot of time but I was very happy in the end because they sent me twice as many as I ordered ( brobably be AUSD they knew that some bulbs were broken and some would mild). Because of my own care I’m hoping that all the bad ones were salvaged. I’ve planted 75% of the bulbs in sandy loamy soil, which I found out from the Internet is the best kind of soul for these saffron crocus’) and I will just have to wait 6 months to know if the produce flowers or not. Some internet sources say that crocus may not bloom the first year planted so that makes it hard to purchase from an unknown source. I’m pretty good with growing exotic fruit trees and plants so I’m pretty sure Ive done everything right with these crocus - I just have to wait and see. One issue I have is why don’t plants and seeds sold on amazon come with planting and care instructions? It would make a purchase a better experience if some care was given to the customer to be successful and it makes good business sense. If customers are successful growing the plants and seeds they purchase, then they will become return customers in the future. It would me more empowering for the Amazon customer if they had the ability to return or complain about a plant product for up to a year. That may seem a bit long for some seeds but in this case I may not see any results for 18 months!

Will see!
I planted the crocuses, but then I had to leave for five weeks and when I came back, it did not look like they had came up let alone bloomed! So I will check this spring and see what happens?

Watch Out
The bulbs look good but if you live in any of the southern states of the U.S., Don't Buy Them. They now tell me the temperature was to high for them to germinate here all though they list this on the zoning of them. It only grows in certain areas of the WORLD!! WASTE OF MONEY.

Only time will tell
This investment, is going to take a few years for results but, I planted them, the came fresh, and due to the drought, and other climate situations, I feel that someday, when I least expect it, I'm going to be blessed with this investment someday! I see the spring krokus every year, now the saffron ones, I'm willing to wait to see! Honestly, I don't feel I got ripped off! What I received was, very healthy product from them! I think, they need to adjust to my climate where I live!

Jumbo?
Paid more for these because they said they were jumbo, but there were not any larger than other bulbs that cost 1/3 as much. At any rate they grow great and produce saffron flowers as expected. Hopefully there will also be lots of new bubs produced as well.
