I love these notebooks so much! They are only slightly smaller than normal US spiral bound notebooks, and the paper is sleek and comfortable to write on. Paired with the perfect pens, these notebooks make writing a delight.

I write 2-3 pages in a journal every day, and I go through a lot of notebooks during the course of a year. I like notebooks that are aesthetically pleasing, and these are seriously adorable with different animal designs on each of the 3 notebooks (one has foxes and owls, one has penguins and polar bears, and one has sloths and flying squirrels). The paper is better quality than average with less ghosting/bleed through. I can't use a fountain pen at all on a standard notebook because the paper quality can't handle the wet ink. I tried writing with a fountain pen and a couple of gel pens on a page in one of these notebooks, and there was zero bleed through of ink, but there was a tiny bit of ghosting which is barely noticeable once the back side of the page is written on.My only quibble with these notebooks is the price is a bit high for the number of pages in the notebooks. These notebooks each contain 40 pages which is probably good for a single subject/class during a school term but will probably only last me a month at most. A standard single subject spiral notebook has 70 pages and can be bought for less than 2 dollars. However, the quality of these notebooks is definitely much better than a standard notebook! If you really care about aesthetics and having nicer features in a notebook such as a cute cover and better quality paper and binding than a standard metal ringed notebook with cheap thin paper, I think these are going to please you.

These are really fantastic and super cute. I wish B5 were a more common size this way, just glad that recently it's become much easier to find them. I really love Kokuyo paper. Among the really fountain pen friendly Japanese brands I feel like these are some of the most affordable. The paper is really smooth, not too much tactility, but shows fountain pen ink qualities like shading and sheening well. The thickness is such that bleed-through doesn't exist for me, and ghosting is minimal.The page count on these is great for a smaller notebook, perfect for a single subject. I do kind of wish they had more like a 6mm rule, as my writing tends to run on the small side, but that might just be a me-thing. That said I appreciate that the rule itself is really light, not too intrusive, doesn't quite have that composition notebook feel, and with the lines it's dot gridded, great for layouts and structure, but without being too intrusive or busy on the page.Overall quality and utility on this is fantastic. Sturdy without feeling too rigid, lays flat beautifully. Absolutely love these notebooks. Great price, super cute, no complaints.
