Quality book, in good condition, highly enjoyed

The seller was top notch and sent the item the same day as the order was placed. Book was in great condition when it arrived.The book itself is incredibly interesting and puts forward some very interesting views on the evolution of human consciousness and culture. I've found it a great read.

The whole book is full of fanciful meandering language that doesn’t really go anywhere or say anything much.McKenna seems obsessed with the patriarchy and doesn’t seem to like Western civilization.He even seems to blame the development of the phonetic alphabet and written language for the “dark night of the planetary soul that we call Western civilization” even though he grew up in that civilization and uses the phonetic alphabet and written language to write this book and doesn’t appear to sense the irony in that, and I think that perhaps he should have stuck to visual mediums to present his ideas as verbally, I can only conclude them to be largely gibberish.I bought this book after Joe Rogan mentioned it on one of his podcasts. I thought I might learn something, and was determined to enjoy the it…..but I failed on both accounts….and yet for some reason I want to plough through the second half, just in case 🤔😵

I didn't get the cover advertised and opened it up to read and a few pages fell out. Not impressed.
