Give it a chance
The other brand out therestays on easier, but is $25 and sticky and wears out quicker. Yes, this one requires a little trimming, but it lasts better, retains its shape, and is easier to clean. Is it harder to put on? Maybe a little. It's not sticky like the other brand, but I stand in front of a mirror with my mask handy, tilt my head back and lay the cushion on my nose, and while my head is still tilted, I grab my mask and put it on my face. Then while holding it to my face, I tilt my head forward and use my free hand to attach the sides. So its a tad trickier to put on, but it will always be my go to.

I had bought a plain gel thing off Amazon that i think did much better but since it was gel it wore out after ...
It definitely protects the bridge of your nose from sores and etc and doesnt absorb oils from your skin so its basically anti slip, however.... it has to almost be perfectly positioned to work correctly.i don't understand why theres a flap that goes above your eyebrows but oh well i can work with that, however the center part gets thin and doesnt have enough width to stop leaks if not put on just the right way your mask will leak air. I had bought a plain gel thing off Amazon that i think did much better but since it was gel it wore out after a few months and starts to discolor from body oil and etc. but it did much better i feel and was thicker and more comfortable. For the price they charge for this cushion I would not buy again. The picture they show of the cushion on that mannequin head is deceiving, it makes it look like its a triangle type of thing and covers everywhere around the nose and the bottom of the eyes when in reality its more like a T shape so buy the time you pull the flaps by the side of your nose then theres no coverage around the eyes and it leaks... Its ok and doesnt absorb body oil which is y I gave it 2 stars but I won't buy again at $15, its not worth it

No Help!
I've tried using the Gecko nose protector before and it just rolls up and blows out from under the mask every time I used it. So I searched and found these Nasal Soft Cushions and from the photos, I thought that it was pre-formed to cover the bridge of your nose and cheeks, but when it arrived, it's exactly the same as the Gecko, flat and softer than a soft boiled egg! Now even though the Blue Cushion is bigger, it took me several tries to get a good seal and it blew out a couple times the first night. So instead of throwing it out right away, I tried it the next night and this time after fixing several initial leaks, it stayed in place the entire night. Encouraged by that time, I have been using it with very little success. I finally ripped it the rest of the way out from under my mask last night and threw it somewhere across the room, I've had enough. I cannot find a mask that fits and these stupid nose protectors are worthless for me! I am Volunteering myself for Experimental Research to create a CPAP Mask for men with big and or broken/misshapen noses like mine. Help Please!

Fact VS Fiction On This Thing
Yes, unless you have a very oily face, this thing will slide all over the place depending on what mask you wear. It has zero adhesive on it, but if you wear a full face CPAP mask and are tired of getting the beat up "hamburger nose" where it looks like you lost a particularly brutal MMA fight, this thing will save your schnozz. Here's how to make it work: get some medical tape or painter's tape and simply tape this thing over the bridge of your nose. Make the tape LONG so you can a) pull it off when you get up without tearing up the rest of your face, and b) and try different ways of taping this in place like one piece of tape from the bridge of your nose to the top of your head or whatever. Too much tape will go into your eyes, and so on.But this rubber gel pad will stop you from getting a beat-up bridge of those nose and yes, has to be taped to stay in place unless you're a greasy guy. For me, it worked and has saved me from getting the "hamburger nose" sine getting it. I wish it would stay on, but it won't. I also wish one day they'd make CPAP masks that actually fit now that we have 3D printers, but that's also not going to happen any time soon so we have to find hacks.

Odd little fleece shapes
My sleep doc said to try geckos—didn’t like. These came up. I can’t stick them on, but they do help cushion the bridge of my nose from the cushion. I tuck them into a cover I use on the cushion. They slide around a little, and I have trouble getting/keeping them in place. Not perfect. Better than a constantly red and irritated nose though!

This works for me
I use this with a full face CPAP mask. It reduces the marks left on my face after removing the mask. I believe it distributes the pressure more evenly over my skin. It doesn't usually stick to my face, so I hold it in place with one hand while placing the mask over it.
