I recently purchased this heater lamp for my turtle enclosure. So far my experience with it has been great. The light is functional and my turtle loves it. For the money you can't go wrong. Great value.The instalation is pretty straight forward and easy. Anybody can do it and install it with no experience. Your turtle will appreciate you a lot! It is also very durable and looks very high quality.I would recommend this to anybody starting a turtle or any reptile enclosure to ensure your pet's well being. This brings all the needs for your pet. The heat and the light. Great purchase.

Super affordable It appears to be warming the basking area of my terrarium right away so that’s a great sign. I did realize there is no super ideal place to clamp it onto the terrarium and the light can’t quite swivel and be adjusted as much as would be ideal. However, I think I can personally manage and am very grateful if it continues to be effective for such affordability. But just take into consideration your setup and whether the clamp and angle of the light needing to point down is going to be possible.

It is worth the purchase. It is very bright. Be careful if you are using it for a starter tank. It will burn a hole in the tank. It is very easy to use. I have red eared sliders turtles. I have one of them that loves basking. The location of the tank is amazing placed and the size of the light is perfect. It functions as stated. The lifespan is what is expected. I am hoping for once the turtles are bigger.

I'm sure the product was just fine but I was uncomfortable with how hot the housing of the light got.

Purchased for a homeschooling unit on heat transfer. Easily clips to cabinet or side of a desk for experiments. Great price and meets for our needs for simple science experiments.
