Great Patches
I’ve tried several different brands of heat patches, most of which are too hot. But these heat patches are just right. They don’t irritate the skin and they’re just the right amount of warmth. I’ll buy them again.

Good value over 'name brand' patches
These work well as a wearable alternative to a heating pad. I use them for shoulder and back pain. IMO the name brand "Thermacare" patches are quicker to activate and perform a bit more evenly, but these work pretty well and are a much better value overall, IMO. They do take some time to get going, and once going, you wouldn't want them much hotter. The adhesive is very strong and even works when wet. These are the exact same patches as Kroger brand ones, and probably other store brands. One thing you do not want to do is put one of these on and then sleep on it. It can get hot enough to mildly burn or irritate sensitive skin if trapped between your body and bedding while you sleep and don't notice. I believe the product's warnings mention this too.

Heat, good; Adhesion, not great
I thought these would be a good deal, compared to not-then-available-in-quantities-desired Beyond BodiHeat pads. The heat of the Backaid Therapy pads was OK, but the adhesion left a lot to be desired. The second one came off and fell down through my pants leg in the bathroom. I didn't see it on the floor and thought, yikes, I flushed it! But no, thank goodness. It was on the floor. The first one didn't stick well and kept coming off. Note: I stuck these to my underwear, just as they advise adhering these to clothing, *not* to your skin. The heat can burn the skin if these are adhered directly to the skin! All in all, I recommend Beyond BodiHeat pads...

Waste of money and time
Product does not get warm nor does it let off any type of heat. The only thing that it does, is stick to your body and hard as heck to get off. Does not do anything to relieve the pain. only because I had to pick a star. Otherwise I would not give it any type of stars.

Really works
My wife has problems with her back L4L5.I bought the for a trip to Vegas for her. She has problems when she walks long distances but mostly when she sits down for too long. This product gave her great relief and help keep her back relaxed for the majority of the trip. She said was surprised at how long the patch was working to keep from hurting. I am going to purchase some more for her soon.

Great cheaper alternative to thermacare patches
I've been using the thermacare patches for over a decade but they've gotten so expensive, and thermacare keeps making the shape smaller and smaller with less heat dots, so I looked for a cheaper alternative and came across these. The pain relief and heat quality is the same (and there seems to be more of the heat generating material inside). The adhesive and pad design is not as good as thermacare, as the adhesive covers more of the pad vs thermacare having smaller adhesive parts at the edges of it, so after a few hours I will sweat it off due to the heat it generates but that is still enough time for it to work. The most important thing is the overall effectiveness which is on par with thermacare, and the lower quality adhesive is something I'm willing to sacrifice for the significant cost savings. I plan on buying more of these when my box runs out.
