At last!
This text represents an unrivalled bridge between current neuroscience and it's application in clinical settings. No other text or educators have come close to the practical and applicable way Moseley and Butler have presented. The BSP approach has been taught for many years but without practicality. now we have a window on how to translate it to help people in pain. A MUST read, and re-read, for anyone in health and well being.

Excellent
Excellent and well worth working through. Lead to completion of NOI's extension- weekend course although I did rather feel that having read the book fully the course wasn't necessary. What is most impressive about the authors for me is the fluidity of their practice and ability to adapt what they do as science enables greater understanding.

Good, but a lot of personality
I am a clinician therefore I chose this book because it is for clinicians. However, there seems to be a lot of "filler" information to bulk up the book such as an over-reliance on casual language such that what could have been said in 2 sentences is said in a paragraph or two. Also, many times, you just want them to get to the point instead of going off on some irrelevant story about themselves. At times, it feels like the authors are trying to keep the reader entertained by using copious amounts of humour, but you purchase the book because you are interested. One doesn't need convincing or constant humour to stay engaged.I've wanted the book for a long time and I am happy I purchased it, but I expected less conversational meandering and story ditties. Overall, the content is very good, but the approach is not to my taste.

Very interesting read .. love it
This book comes highly recommended. It is very informative on the concept of Pain. Plenty of diagrams and illustrations to make the idea of Pain really interesting. Whether for your own interest or for informative research for work this book has it all.

Great info at a cost
I like the content of this book as it is aimed more at practitioners (I'm a physio). My only gripe is the high price and sometimes unnecessary use of cartoons. As a piece of artwork this is great, but in a medical text I get the feeling that you are paying for something which does not need to be there.
