This is a great bag. I was pleasantly surprised with the width and length of this bag. Super warm, our first outing was Memorial day in Vermont and the first night dipped below 45°F and I was comfy. The two best features are the velcro tab that is at the top of the zipper to keep you from unzipping in the middle of the night no matter how much you turn, this did come unstiched but I just sewed it back on, not a big deal to me. There is also an adjustable cord that allows you to cinch the top of the bag down to keep you. and your body heat in.The only thing I don't like is the stuff sack, but I never like those on sleeping bags. Would it kill the manufacturers to make them a bit bigger.Overall would (will) purchase again.

Very roomy and cozy.

I just returned from a 3-day camping trip to northern New Mexico, and this is the bag I used. Overall, I was pretty pleased with it. Pros and Cons:PROS:1. The flannel lining is very soft and comfortable against the skin. It doesn’t give you that “cold shock” when you first climb in like some of the nylon-lined bags do.2. It’s very roomy. I tend to sleep kind of sprawled out and you can do that in this bag. I was able to lie on my back and raise my knees up without lifting the bottom of the bag up, something you can’t do in some of the more confined mummy bags. I’m not a side sleeper, but this bag is roomy enough that you could roll over from one side to the other without much difficulty.3. The zippers. I’ve seen a few reviews where people complained about the zippers, but I found them to be decent quality and smooth-operating. Interestingly, when I was ready to get up in the morning, I was able to unzip the bag just by tugging at the top side, without even touching the zipper with my hand.CONS:1. I question whether the bag is really as warm as advertised. It got down into the low fifties and maybe the high forties (Fahrenheit) where we camped, and I actually got a little cold. We were sleeping in a tent. The first night I slept in a short-sleeved t-shirt; the second night I slept in a long-sleeved shirt and was comfortable enough. The third night it rained a little, which really cooled things off, and I slept with a fleece pullover jacket over the long-sleeved shirt, and was very comfortable. Personally, if I knew the temperature was going to drop into the thirties or lower, I’d probably use one of my other sleeping bags.2. The storage bag could be better. It comes with some straps that are supposed to help you compress the sleeping bag further once you’ve got it inside the bag, but I found them to be more annoying than helpful. This was my first time using this bag, so it could be that I will get better with practice, but this time around I just gave up on trying to use them.Overall, I like this sleeping bag in spite of the Cons I just listed. I would recommend it for use anytime from late Spring to early Fall, with the understanding that you might need to supplement the bag with some kind of warm sleepwear, depending on the temperatures.

I ordered the pea green color sleeping bag for a camping trip. I'm a big fella, about 5'9", around 350lbs, and this sleeping bag felt pretty comfortable. I could toss & turn, but the zipper came undone a little, but that was partially due to the sleep wedge I was using in addition to the sleeping bag. The quality seemed pretty average compared to regular sleeping bags. It did pretty well at keeping me warm during the night with 60s & 50s for weather. I do think this purchase was a decent value for money. Overall, I'm happy with the product & would recommend as a purchase to others.

It’s so big and cozy and warm! It zips all the way open, so you could use it as a blanket if you prefer. My first one had a rip in it, but I was able to easily replace it with a new one.

I love the soft cotton flannel lining. That is my biggest pet peeve with traditional sleeping bags. I just can't get comfortable with the slick nylon interior. So it check this box for me bigtime.I also love how roomy the bag is. I can flip around without getting tangled. Its really like sleeping in my bed at home. The half moon "mummy" feature is pretty cool too. Leaving it open is great for using a traditional pillow. And most nights camping, this is how I'd use it. But there is the option to pull the generous drawstring cording on the side opposite the zipper and velcro closure to cinch it up. It actually cinched the entire opening so instead of just the mummy head wrapping around you, it closes in around your shoulders and neck too. I suppose for a really cold night, that would be helpful but then you'd have to put your pillow outside your bag unless its a tiny camp pillow. Just a consideration.The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars was a couple design items. First, I really HATE that they put the branding on the front and center of the bag up by my neck. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had noticed this. Its just ugly. Second, the stuff sack "cinching straps" have no way to release to open up unthread them from what is supposed to be their permaenent housing. I have worked in outdoor retail and apparel/product deisgn for decades in each industry...and this is purely a way to cut costs and I'm not a fan. You have to move the straps off to the side to access the bag and then wrangle with that same situation to get the bag back in the sack. The straps have zero extra length to grab onto in order to cinch it down so in my mind, this isn't a compression sack at all. The design is just wrong for that feature. If they wanted to save costs, they should just cut off all the straps and save more money, make the bag a tad bigger to make it easier to store and call it a storage bag. I don't like being sold on a "feature" that works poorly. Third, while the zipper works perfectly, I know from my years in apparel/product design that this is a pretty low quality zipper so I'll just be careful with it.All in all, this bag will get the job done. Its comfortable and cozy and lighterweight than most "family camping" style bags. I'm happy with it. I'm just not sure the value is there for the current pricing at $80. I know I'm a bit of a design critic so maybe the average consumer wouldn't take issue with the same things I have.
