Works, but not quite OEM.
The product appears well-constructed, however it does not interface well with the DeWalt charger. You have to fiddle with it to get it to make an electrical connection to start charging. In contrast it does interface well with the DeWalt drill.

Larger battery than original, but still works!
The media could not be loaded. Just received this battery today, so I’m going to give it a 5 star rating…(so far)The battery was packaged with care, and it fits securely into my DeWalt DC730 cordless drill. “Snaps” into place. Came precharged, but I’m not sure how much charge it has. Fits securely into my original DeWalt DW9118 14.4v battery charger. Battery is larger than original DeWalt DW9094 battery, but that may be because it has more capacity than the originals. Fits securely inside DeWalt hardshell carrying case. So far, no complaints….This is an initial, “day one” review.I will return in 30 days, or sooner with any relevant updates.

Works well enough
This battery pack fits without issue in my DW954 drill and charges without overheating in my DW9118 charger, despite stating it's only for NiCd batteries. NiMH battery chargers often use the temperature of the battery to stop the charge, however this pack does not have a temperature sensor and my charger won't use one anyway. I don't know if the pack is getting fully charged, but it seems to work well enough. The outside dimensions are bigger than the original though and I cannot close the DeWalt carrying case with this battery in it. I should mention the product listing is misleading by stating "Built-in protection against potential damage caused by overcharging, overheating and short-circuit protection" even though the internals contains batteries only, no components that would prevent overcharging, overheating or short-circuits, as shown in my photos. It is for these reasons I reduced to 3 stars.

This non-oem work about the same as a worn originsl
This product charges up with my Makita worn original 14V battery. Not the best quality but fits nice and easy to remove. No issues but not a super powerful battery. Would give it 4.5 start…. After heavy use.. same as a 10 year old original 14V original… would expect longer but it will do.

Bringing my old drill back to life
I have a 20 year old Dewalt drill that has served me well over the years. Unfortunately the batteries finally had it. Was just about to get rid of it when I found these batteries. They fit and work perfectly, including with the charger. This has given my drill a second life, and I'm very happy to be able to keep using it rather than replacing it. Would definitely recommend these batteries for older style replacements.

Same power as original, but cheaper
The battery was a little big for the charger but worked. I now have used this over 6 chargers and power felt the same. I was doing sanding with it and got around 25 minutes with constant use, that was impressive. Hard to compare to the old ones since those were about dead. Charging was about an hour like all do. Storage seams to be great, but I have only stored it for about a week or two. This will be the big test. For the price and performance, glad I have it to replace the factory ones. I’ll buy another so I have a pair.

An oldie but a goodie
I have a very old Black and Decker CD140G drill that's served me many years. It takes the Dewalt DC9091 battery (which back in the days of Ni-Cad was the DW928 battery). It's getting tougher to find them brand new, which is why I was happy to find this one. I usually try to shy away from generics, but these are practically impossible to find from the OEM anymore, as everyone has moved on from 14.4v to 20v these days. The battery wouldn't stay latched on to the drill, but I'm not going to hold that against the manufacturer; heaven knows that in 20 years Black and Decker and Dewalt probably changed the spec a few times. I just used some Gorilla Tape to keep it on, and it works like a champ.I like the fact that manufacturers like these are keeping old products accessible long after the original manufacturer has abandoned their products. In this case, it's added a few more years to my trusty old drill.
