Worth the Price
These strap locks perform well, and fit my Schaller strap locks, but at a much lower cost. I bought them for the buttons, as opposed to the whole set, but ended up using both. The only downside is that the supplied screws seem very thin and weak, so I replaced them with stainless steel #6 screws, which fit well but add additional security. The strap portion fit as well as the Schallers, which is to say that if the strap is too thick, they cause a bit of trouble getting the nut to start. And over time, they tend to loosen. But over all, they appear to work as well as the Schallers. We will see if they last as long - I've only had them on the bass for a couple of months.

Works Perfectly! (not all screws work though!)
So i have 2 guitars that i play and wanted a locking system for 1 strap that will work with both guitars. This purchase was perfect for what i needed and although inexpensive it works just as well as the $40 dollar ones. Played two hour long sets with them and they held up perfectly. If for some reason they ever fail on me i will update this review.Know that the screw heads that come with it are smaller than the ones that are stock in most guitars(at least all 4 i own), so you CAN NOT use the screws that are already in your guitar, you have to use the ones provided unless you are super lucky and they match. The screws that were in my guitar did not sit all the way in and prevented the lock from closing. Just a heads up.

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING - NOT SCHALLER QUALITY!
I am a luthier, having built custom basses for over 40 years. I've built Custom Basses for Bassists who have played with Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Boyz II Men, Prince and others. In an attempt to experiment with other Straplock brands at a lower cost, I gave these a try. The attached photo shows the results if my experimentation. On my personal 7 String Koa Bass ($10,000.00 retail value), the knob came off just before I went onstage this past weekend. My clients who have some of my latest customs have had similar experiences with these CHEAP Wolfride Straplocks. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE IF YOU WANT QUALITY HARDWARE!

As good as the original Schallers. Best strap locks out there.
These are my go-to straplocks and I have them installed on all 10 of my guitars. They are as good as the original Schallers, and less bulky than the new Schallers that have the massive disk on the front side of the strap with the set screws. Not to mention they are a fraction of the price. Just make sure you crank them down with a nut driver and you will NEVER have any issues with them. Every time I buy a new guitar or new strap, I always get a set of these. I wish they came with the little felt discs but I just reuse the ones that came with the guitar so it's no big deal to me. Seriously, if you want straplocks that are reliable and won't break the bank, these are the only ones you need. Plus, they work with bothn the original and new Schallers.

Keep this in mind when ordering
These strap locks are "decent quality". You can usually get a couple pair of these for $10 and sometimes 3 for $13. These are "Schaller" style strap locks - which normally cost $26. I'm just going to say - you get what you pay for. If you think you're going to get a pair of these for $4-$5 and it will be the same quality as the $26 Schaller version you are not.I think most of these reviews were left by people that used this product under 6 months. I bought a dozen pairs of these and put them on all my guitars. I've used them a year now. I can tell you for the most part they are all still working good. But the failure rate is about 20% (for me) on the locking part that attaches to the strap. Over time they fail and the locking pin just falls out and makes that part attached to the strap useless. Luckily (at this price) I have plenty of spares and I just swap it out. But I don't play out a lot, and it's not a big deal to me.Do not buy this thinking it's pro quality gear. Do not buy this and think it will last you years and years. Buy some spares so you can swap it out when it fails. You get what you pay for - just understand that when you get these.
