Goodbye windows
This is my first Acer product and I am delighted with the build quality and general all round performance. And the chrome OS is just brilliant. It has noneoff the faff of windows. So I'm sorrywindows.. it's au revoir to you.

Budget laptop at budget price
You get what you pay for. This is a budget laptop at a budget price. The screen is very basic. I bought it as a laptop i can afford to lose when I'm away for nights in budget hotels without a safe. It's good enough for me to log into my work remote systems to fix any unexpected problems but I wouldn't want it as my main device

Simple laptop
Easy to use and setup, sound good enough, only issue is trying to scroll down forms when filling out details on sites, gets tricky to do so may need a Mouse to work it easily?Looks good and build quality is good.

Poor display
I bought this as a low cost replacement for a failing Toshiba CB30-8-104 - bought way back in 2016. The Toshiba was a brilliant device for its time; notable for an outstanding IPS display. Sadly it's no longer supported by Google; so what with a totally dead replacement battery, a new Chromebook was clearly needed. The Acer is certainly low cost - I got it for £179,99 - but is let down by a poor display. The view angle is very limited and the colours are crude and washed out. Basically a good first Chromebook for the occasional user, but I wanted something more like my old Toshiba. I returned it the next day.

It only works after 3.45pm
This laptop reverts to default every day! Won't allow me in until about 4pm. Says I don't have authority to use This device!

Is what it is.
Good for the money, don't expect to much for the price.
