Progesterone Powder USP, Bioidentical Micronized Powder, Topical and Cosmetic, 25 Grams (25 Gram)

I mix the entire pack at a time. It's 25 grams, so it is 25,000 mg. I do the math dividing how many mgs I need a day. I mix this with 5 oz of oil -- I divide it into 5 one oz bottles. I fill a pot with 88 degree tap water (it is barely luke warm) - ADD a glass container in the middle andIuse a digital thermometer in the water. When water is 88 degrees, pour in the vit E into the glass container. The temp will go down, when it reaches 86 degreess, add the entire package of USP progesterone and mix it with a 'little milk frother/drink mixer' - a small mixer. (recharge mixer after use.) The water stayed at 86 degrees for at 6-10 minutes - I mix it for 10 minutes. Depending on the oil you mix it with will depend on if it will separate, and also how many drops you will need for the dose you want. Common info on line is theres 590 drops in an ounce --DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. I divide the oil into the bottles to an even level. Then I count how many drops are in one of the bottles -- Then do the math of how many mgs are in a bottle divided by how many drops are in a bottle and figure out your actual dose, and do the math to know how many daily doses are in a bottle. Leven Rose organic and pure VITAMIN E OIL did NOT separate and is thick - it had 391 drops to an ounce the first time I made it. This time I counted and it had 565 drops to a bottle. (They are 1 oz bottles with dropper, but different ones than I used before. I suggest using same source each time.) It is just a 4 oz bottle of oil. I needed more than 1. And Everyday Beauty Vitamin E oil for scars strongly separates and is thin, I counted 891 drops to a 1 oz bottle. I had to shake the bottle each time, but the progesterone did work for me. -- I say do the math because it all depends on your progesterone dosage -- this can vary greatly. There is a bit of math to do -- get someone with a math mind if you need help. I bought the 'milk frother/drink mixer' and thermometer, and dark 1oz dropper bottles, and oil on line and then made this.--The general 'recipe' for the progesterone is from Ray Peat's patent -- example 3, from US Patent 4,439,432. I follow the directions interperted from another review., (I think on the EPOTHEX website. I am grateful for her general info.) The above is what I found works for me.-- Here's the general math I do -- you need to use your own info. I have the 25gm package, which is 25,000 mgs of progesterone. Once mixed I divide it into 5 - 1oz bottles -- In calculator put in total mgs 25,000, divide by 5 and it = 5,000 mgs in a 1 oz bottle.I counted the drops in one of the evenly divided bottles. (I used droped to equal them).--Put 5,000 mgs in calculator DIVIDE by my DAILY MG DOSE and that = # of doses/days a bottle will last.--Put # of drops in the calculator, divide by the # of days bottle will last, that = the # of drops in my daily dose / if it is 5.6 that 5 drops is my daily dose with an extra .6--for the extra .6 (or what ever .#) I put the (point number) .# of extra drops into calculator, and x (multiply) the # of days the bottle lasts, that = the # of WHOLE EXTRA DROPS I need. If my number is 5, that means for 5 days I need 1 exta drop (I record my dose as daily dose # + 1 (1 of 5) -- +1 (2 of 5).. that's how I keep count.--To know how many mgs are in a drop, I put 5,000 (total mgs in a bottle) into calculator, and divide by the # of drops in a botle, this = the number of mgs in each drop. Just FYI--General FYI: I am careful to emply the comple package of progesterone without spilling any or leaving any in the package. -- I am careful to not spill the proj mixture while filling the bottles. If I spell any, I find a way to put it into the jar (or make a good guess of how many drops worth was spill -- that count needs to be part of your math to get the dosage right.) (I work on a clean surface, so if I spill something, It is clean to lift it off. ) If I spill a drop on a bottle, with clean fingers I wipe it on my finger and wipe it on the bottle.) When filling the bottles with the little funnels, I need to be careful and giggle it to go into the bottle. Be careful to not over fill it. Best not to make a mess, but it happes.--If MY PROGESTERONE MIXTURE FEELS TOO THICK TO RUB IN WELL: This progesterone mixture with the Leven Rose Vitamin E OIL FEELS TOO THICK TO RUB INTO MY SKIN WELL. This happened the first time I used it also. I forgot since I HAVE AN EASY FIX FOR THIS.- I put a few drops of castor oil (or could be coconut oil -- a thin oil) on my palm, then I put the drops of progesterone on top of it on my palm, then I put a few drops of the castor oil again on top of it -- then I rub this into my body -- I use belly. This rubs in well. This was very easy to do that I forgot that I would need to do it again. I just keep a dropper bottle of the extra oil. (This time I could have used 6 oz of oil instead of 5, maybe that would make it thin enough. Then I'd have to refigure all my math. )-- I've divided my daily dose drops into am and pm times. And I've also taken it basically at the same time, but putting some on of drops on my skin and rubbing it in well, then adding the others drops and finish rubbing them both in. - I am careful to rub the progesterone well into my body so I get the dose that works for me.-- Extra FYI: I prefer to not leave droppers in my prog. bottles that I won't use for awhilel Often the dropper gets clogged. I cup caps/lids for them.-- If I shake a dropper bottle, I prefer to take the dropper out (first I empty it). I place my thumb over it and shake it. Or if you have a dropper cap/lid, use it. I have not had an accident shaking a bottle with my thumb covering it.. When the dropper if left in the bottle to shake it - you must first empty the dropper, but also shaking the bottle will get some liquid into the dropper.-- This progesterone has restored my hormone balance.
