Perhaps it's just me, but even though you're just swallowing them, there's a distinct, slightly bitter aftertaste that can linger. It's not bad, but it's definitely better if you take it with food or a drink to help mask it.In terms of effectiveness, I'd say it helps now that I've used them for a month. If you're looking for a natural bit of help for your prostate health, it might be worth giving a try, especially as part of a broader routine. Just don't expect dramatic results—it feels more like a subtle, steady addition to overall wellness.

These are straight forward tablets and are easy to take. There's no taste and they give a high ratio of pygeum for prostate health. No complaints.

The nutri-things Pygeum Africanum arrives in a printed recyclable plastic bottle (PET-1).Printed on the bottle are the expiry date (O4/27 ), ingredients pygeum 500mg per capsule (pure 5000mg 10:1) dosage (2/d), and logos including the GMP logo - which is important for product quality.There is no statement regarding other excipients - so I have to assume that this is the case as Vinco have a legal requirement to state what they are if present.Pygeum has been scientifically researched in small studies and there is even an old Cochrane meta-analysis available. Pygeum does appear to benefit prostate health and urinary flow. .The suggested dosage in this preparation is much higher than the doses used in the research performed in human studies. The studies used doses of up to 250 mg and the side effect at this dose appear to be minimal. Each capsule in this preparation claims to have 500mg and then they suggest 2 capsules per day. Unfortunately nutri-things do not state the % phytosterols that this preparation is standardised to - which is important information to know). I certainly would not take 2 capsules per day and would start with care on 1 per day at that dose.There are 60 capsules in the preparation and the current price is £10.00 which for the dose is low compared to with other pygeum preparations available on Amazon. The capsules are middle sized and not difficult to swallow.Overall I prefer products with single ingredients and as this is a GMP product so I should be happy to recommend it - but the high dose concerns me and the lack of information regarding the standardisation of the % phytosterols in this preparation. Would I buy this preparation if I had not received it from the Vine? No although the price is attractive I would look for a preparation stated to have greater than 10% phytosterols at a lower dose.
