Great value for repair and dressing up those counter scratches. The variety of grit helps work your way down to the desired smoothness. I used them on a battery-powered grinder with good results. They held securely and made the process work much easier.

I'm using it to polish rocks from our property. Grandkids love seeing polished rocks that they found.

This is a comprehensive set of diamond discs covering a wide range of grits. The grit is stamped into the felt, it looks melted so it's embossed, then inked somehow. The rubber backing pad is so much better than the hard plastic type. It's more durable and flexes a little so that you can handle variations in the surface that you're working with. This is advertised as being for various types of stones, but you can also use this with metal with care. Diamonds can react with steel because they generate more heat. This causes the disc to break down sooner than with stone. Using it wet helps tremendously. I'm quite happy with these, because of what you get at a good price.

This came as described and worked really good. Was exactly what I was looking for.

There is a good variety of polishing pads. The only problem I ran into is I didn't have a 5/8" polisher to attach it to. I had to order an attachment so I could use the polisher with a 1/2" drill. Life would have been so much easier if for a couple bucks more it came with it.

I've been using these polishing pads now for a while, getting my bathroom countertops back looking like new.They're builders quality faux marble composite countertops that has been scratched over the years.Using these pads – 400 to 3000, I was able to erase some deep scratches where the girls have thrown down their hairdryers and other makeup 'stuff'.It will take time, but I'm sure I can get all the counter tops looking like new.These polishing pads are very rugged and well made and kept firmly in place on the backing plate - even at high speeds.I am very happy with them and recommend them.

I'm not a professional of any sort, I just got these for a handful of projects I've been working on. And they've worked great for me so far.Only word of caution I have is that they do wear down relatively quickly. I don't know how normal that is, but probably average for something like this.
