Great, lightweight battery solution
Another great Nitecore product. Seems well built, light weight, battery life is as expected and doesn't lose much of a charge when stored, no detectable heat when charging, easy to carry in the pocket. Highly recommend.

Perfect!
I purchased this Nitecore carbon 6k battery bank for shorter backpacking trips when my Nitecore carbon 10k is larger than needed. At nearly half the weight of the 10k, and much smaller, this has worked out perfectly for my needs. I also like the fact that it has only a USB C port (rather than C and A), as I only use USB C (faster).

lighter and smaller but not sure it's worth it over the NB10000
Bought this thinking it would be less weight compared to NB10000 for shorter backpacking trips. It doesn't really seem to have enough power to charge my phone, and it's a standard charge, not a fast charge. This would probably be sufficient for me for a weekend trip but not enough if you use a lot of battery. I'm going to keep it, but I'm not really impressed like I was with the NB10000.

Don’t buy Nitecore 6K Carbon Battery
The media could not be loaded. I was able to use the Nitecore battery twice. After charging it for the third time, the unit wouldn’t discharge any power. I tried recharging the battery bank, but it still won’t work.

Lightweight but underperforming
I have been a fan of Nitecore's NB10000 and thought the Carbon Battery 6K could be a good option for short trips at roughly 60% of the weight and capacity of NB10000. My CB6K is lightweight and well built, but I found it not able to output as much energy as specified. The spec claims 3700mAh 5V, which is 18.5 Wh. I tested my CB6K three times and the measured output was 15-16.8 Wh. A fully charged CB6K can only charge my Pixel 8 Pro from 16% to 71%. I contacted Nitecore and they told me this was not considered defective.
