Each flag is in 2 parts a base that i sewed onto a sweatshirt and then the flag part - these attach very well with their velcro surfaces. Presumably the embroidered flag side can be easily removed when washing garments, but i’ve washed the whole lot and they’re great. Highly recommend for showing support.
